I ordered this pad through suggestions from my computer geek friends. It was a great price and works exactly as stated. If this helps give a few more years to my computer, then it is well worth the price!

Great for the price

I work from home and have multiple peripherals connected to my laptop and very rarely shut it down. I always have a need for a cooler. This is my third one. The previous ones started becoming noisy after a couple of months and had small fans.

The fan on this is truly massive like it says and I've had this for about 2 months. It's very quiet. I hope it stays that way.

I use other free-standing cooling fans from ThermalTake and have been very happy with them.

Best cooler fan so far

I am very impressed on how well this laptop-cooling pad works. The adjustable fan produces an excellent airflow at a low setting. And at the high setting it is very quiet. It is so quiet I cannot hear it when it is running at any speed. I appreciate that the manufacturer made the USB plug-in allowing me to plug my mouse into the back of the USB plug-in. The nonskid pads built-in to the cooling pad work better than I had expected.

Exactly what I wanted

My laptop had been running hot in two places before getting this fan.  Since I started using the fan the laptop is running cooler in the spots that were hot before.

I LOVE THE FACT THAT IT HAS A HUGE FAN. THIS WAY IT COVERS MORE OF MY 17"
LAPTOP.  IT DOES HELP KEEP IT COOLER. PLUS, THE OPTION OF THE FANS SPEED IS GREAT. THE BLUE FAN LIGHT ALSO HAS AN OPTIONAL, ON/OFF FEATURE. IT IS VERY BRIGHT WHEN ON. JUST LOVE IT. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

HUGE FAN

I recently did away with my desktop tower, and use a laptop in its place. Since the laptop is constantly running it was getting really hot and shutting down. After using this product, the laptop is always cool and running. I would recommend this product to others.

Great product

This works to keep my old laptop cool; however it seems made for working on a flat surface not sitting on an actual lap as I use my computer. The device is rounded with hard edges, the fan is safely covered; my solution to use the cooler on my lap comfortably- I took the actual box it came in and placed the cool fan on top. Works great, no problems, and can work for hours without old laptop overheating. This product is worth the extra effort in place of purchasing a new computer.

Purchased this item and it has YET to actually work. Unplugged it, turned it off/on several times and it STILL doesn't work...feel like I wasted money on a product that had high reviews
