[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have small children or simply suffer from allergies this product is ideal orchestras can record the humidity of your room or if it feels very dry. Its cost is very accessible and it's very easy to use and read..

Muy util

iTronics Co.

At this price what is there to dislike. I bought two, one for a film vault and one for a video tape vault. First I put them near each other in just one vault to see if they registered the same results. Almost identical! They also display the high percentage over time, good to know. And the magnetic back sticks right onto our metal shelves at eye level.

Great little Digital Hygrometer

walmart.com

Delivers humidity and temperate as advertised. Size is perfect for me as is display readability. The button to reset stored data works fine. Only glitch was the battery, which came wrapped in clear plastic, which I didn't notice. Put it in wrapped, and the unit didn't work. Figured it out when I put on my reading glasses :).

Excellent small thermometer

It's perfect, simple, and it does everything I want it to do. It gives a reading of the temperature and humidity along with an average high and low for the day.
It also has a magnet to stick on metal surfaces and a kick stand. I especially like that it doesn't have any complex set up. You just simply put in the battery, and it's ready.

The device is portable and with the built in stand it makes reading the display very easy. I bought this to calibrate my new American Standard home thermostat temperature and humidity readings. I check periodically to make sure they are matching the ThermoPro TP50W and so far they are synching up.

Great little device for temp and humidity resdings

I purchased this product to measure the moisture in the air. When the milk in my fridge was going bad within 5 days, I was concerned. I used it for a few minutes in the fridge and it became obvious that the tempurature was not up to the recommended temp for safety. This alerted me to have it inspected. I already had the ThermoPro room thermometer and its accurate. Good product, and seller.

used it in refrigerator

This particular hygrometer was bought to complete a test in a community building. It was easily set up and easy to read . The test was done over a 10 day period and the results were clear and very helpful. I would recommend this meter with complete confidence.

Seems to work well. Non lighted display which I consider a plus because it will let you sleep in the dark in the bedroom. Uses batteries quickly and 1.2 volt rechargeables don't run the display solidly. Thermometer displays 1 or 2 degrees higher than my others.

Item is defective. Screen stays blank even after new battery is installed correctly. I even tested the new battery which came with product and and it worked in another device to rule out issue with battery. Don't buy it. You'll waste your time.
Photos shows blank screen with battery installed.

Defective

The digital readout display on both units failed within one and a half weeks. I have purchased a white units on multiple occasions that have never had a problem with them in the past 2 to 3 years we've owned them. However, these black units are very, very poor quality.

ThermoPro TP50W Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer Room Thermometer and Humidity Gauge with Temperature Humidity Monitor tabletop unit with LCD display for temperature and %RH, industrial-grade humidity sensor, air comfort icons (DRY/COMFORT/WET), daily high/low records and magnetic back; often used for fridge or humidor monitoring.
