Very pricey heating pad BUT it is the BEST on the market. Gets very hot but love the fact that it heats very deep into the bodys tissues. When I order, I ALWAYS order 2 because I don't want to not have a spare on hand!  BEST investment I have ever made and been using Thermaphore products since 2000. EXCELLELLENT!!!

heating pad

Just what I expected..replaced my old one..perfect!

I had a heating pad from this company growing up in the 80's and it finally broke in 2025. Well, technically it didn't break, but I was burnt from it and it was officially a fire hazard. I did a lot of online research and found this one, but my oh my was it expensive. Thankfully on sale at $67 off I purchased it. I was a bit concerned about the 30 minute limit before it shuts off but I knew I didn't want the other model they sell where you have to hold the on switch the entire time you use it. 

I own 8 heating pads and 3 heating blankets and typically get 2-4 years out of them due to constant use. My frustration over the last few years has been the fact that none of them get hot enough. (Aside from the one from the 80's). 

The pros:
This heating pad, when compared side by side with numerous other brands, heats faster and hotter.  You can feel it immediately and after 10-15 minutes it's almost too hot! But that's what I wanted and it delivered. 

The cons:
The pad, much like the original model, is not a soft pliable fabric. It's more of a pliable plastic. It's difficult to get a nice fold where the shoulder meets the neck. The point of the larger unit is to be able to heat the back and neck at once or even run it lengthwise from the low back to the top of the neck. But because it's a stiffer material, it takes a bit of work to get it to stay in place around the curves of the body. That said, once it fully heats up it does lay flat a little easier. I've also found laying something over top to weigh it down helps greatly.

It was a Christmas gift for my daughter and it only last 1 month before it stopped heating.

This is a very heavy pad, wish I had chosen the smaller pad. But, it works and I like that it cuts off after about 25 minutes so I don't get carried away with the warmth. Does help the bursitis in my shoulder.

This heating pad has already broken after only 2 months approx.of use.Medium on control not lighting up and no heat.

This heating pad is complete junk. It is nothing like the one I bought 6 years ago. It has no moisture coming from it. The outer covering I threw out and used my OLD one, as the new one was awful and was NOT SHEEP SKIN like my old one..same price but made very cheaply. Will never by from this company again.
