Career defining album.

Epic album. There is so much raw emotion in every song. Yes, some of this is directed at the battle with the record label but there are also a lot of personal battles described. This album is as though you are watching a movie in your head.

This is a thought provoking, inspirational, motivating, triumphant piece of art.

When you get to the top of a hill, you keep climbing to the top of the next - you don't want to stay on the same road or go down the other side. Without re-inventing and improving, there will be no success. The band has succeeded in making it to the top of the next hill. Jared's voice sounds amazing - his best ever on this album and hearing the songs live are even better.

This album is worth every penny. I have actually purchased several and have given them out as birthday, christmas, etc gifts. Everyone should get to experience this band. They are nothing short of spectacular. There sound is pure Magic.

Amazing Album

I've been a fan of 30 Seconds to Mars for a long time and was so excited when I heard this album. It's very Depeche Mode, U2, Nine Inch Nails and The Cure inspired. It pays homage to those bands but they definitely add their own style with the amazing drumming, loud but sometimes soft vocals and the melodic guitar. It's their best album to date and I've already bought multiple copies to support this awesome band.

Modern flashback

It's an amazing record in which each song has it's own feel yet all the songs flow together well one great song after another. I've listened to it every day since I got it and still nearly a month later can't stop listening to it. This is War is AMAZING.

This album is a bridge between 30 Seconds to Mars first 2 albums. It has a massive sound with all the vocals, synths and unpresidented uniqueness on each song. The song L490 just takes you by surprise. A couple of the songs have you dancing to them and for this band that is truely different. I was not sure what to expect given the first 2 albums are so different from each other. This band has managed to deliver to me an album that I enjoy listening to and find myself singing to. I would highly recommend you give it a try because I know you are going to like it.
