I bought this as a gift for my son for Christmas and proved to be a good purchase as he seems to enjoy playing with it and coming up with his own scenarios and utilizing his other toys with this track set.

Great gift

A must buy if you have any of the Thomas plastic track, especially at this price.
Kids love it, and allows even more track layouts to their collection of designs.

My son got the Thomas glow in the dark train and track for Christmas and became obsessed. He started putting the track up on other toys to create a sort of hill, so we decided to get this track which also attaches to the glow in he dark track. It's also very reasonably priced for a starter track

Great beginner track!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the track connections on this new set for Thomas.  These stay together around turns and when changing the level of the track.  No more lift up areas that stop Thomas and his friends from completing a round trip around an assembled track.  Works with previous motorized model trains as well.

strong, durable connections

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this track set for my three year old son. He had the basic track sets that only went in a circle and had one ok bridge(which fell down a lot) and a tunnel. He was very excited about this set. It was easy to put together and seems very  sturdy. He liked that the trains went on a bridge and under the bridge. All of his Thomas trains worked on it. He played with it for a good two hours straight. I really like this set. Plus my four year daughter liked it too.

He loves Thomas and has a couple of the other sets,  we were so glad to see that  it was compatible with his other tracks and he had a lot of fun connecting them all together. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this train track as part of the play, rate, & review program back in mid July, and haven't written my review until now so I could give a fair, real life review. I wanted to see if this track had "staying power" up against my rambunctious 4 yr old twin boys, and let me tell you, it does!! First off, the track was easy to assemble. It has a great bridge feature that lends excitement to any track! It is sturdy enough to withstand rough play of 4 yr old boys, which is saying a lot!  My boys thouroughly enjoyed playing with this track once I got them a train to put on it! My one criticism is: There was no train car packaged with this track. So if you don't already have a train car, you have to buy one! I don't like this. I had to wait a month before ever getting to play with it until I could go buy trains for it! Overall a cool toy, sturdy, holds interest well, very exciting for the kids!! It's a great toy for a decent price and I do recommend it if your kids like trains!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really enjoy this track!  They love the bridge feature and adding it on to our "TrackMaster Treasure Chase Set"-  Seriously hours of fun!!  My only complaint (the reason for the four stars instead of five) is my son needs help assembling the track-  older versions of the "TrackMaster Tracks" he can put together all by himself (they used to "snap" together very easily)  and play whenever he wants instead of waiting for an adult to help.  Still a very fun toy!
