[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two-year-old son loves trains. So, when we got this he was so excited to use it in his train set. Most of his trains are not themed. Therefore, when we got this set, he was so excited to see that it came with a chef and a dining car. He was very intrigued to learn that you can eat on some trains. He absolutely loved adding this set to his collection. It's a great toy that is well made. Given that my son is two, a lot of toys break. However, two weeks later, it still looks brand new. I love the additional tracks that come with it and it easily fit with the other sets we have. The covered station was cute and fun as he would drive up and load the little chef. The two toy figurines that come with it bend and have just enough detail to spark imagination. I will definitely be on the look out to add more additions to this cute little set.

A truly five star train car

He also is so pleased to take Thomas and his other trains through a real station. As a parent I really like how well the adapter pieces fit with our existing wooden track, which is made up of pieces from various sets.

My child likes to play hours with the set .  The set includes: station structure, a baker, a passenger, a wood clock, and a passenger car. There's Fun to play pretend and imagine. Great quality and well made on details.

Super adorable addition to the play set

Looks great and my boys love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sons were excited to open the Knapford Station the minute they saw the box.  My 10 year old was a huge train and Thomas guy when he was little and he was really impressed with Knapford Station.  Both he and my 5 year old found it easy to connect to our other wooden tracks.  They both liked that it came with two people and a cart.   My younger son found it really easy and fun to play with.  I found this toy to be very well made, as you'd expect from a Thomas the Train product.  It's had some rough and tumble play this past week and is holding up beautifully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids absolutely love this awesome Knapford Station, one of the most iconic buildings of the Thomas and Friends franchise. This has quickly become apart of every track we build and works great with all the wooden train pieces we already had.

A must for any train collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toy through the Mattel Play, Rate, and Review program. My 5 year old loves it. He's enjoyed adding it to his train collection. The set seems sturdy and we'll built, and looks like it will hold up to the average child's play.

Fun toy that keeps my 5 year old's attention

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was very excited to see his new Knapford train station set for his train table. He loves building new sets and playing with the people in the trains that come with the sets. 

When he got the new set. He said “wow”! He was very excited to open it and play with it. As a parent, the set looked cute. It has a baker and a train car, the station is a bakery, there is  also a bench as well as a few other pieces.

On the front of the box very large print it says WOOD! which I interpreted to mean all the pieces are made out of wood. I know that having wood toys is a big deal for some families. It's not for mine, but I understand that many families feel strongly about only having wood toys toys.

Opening the box, a small screwdriver was needed to take the train set out of the box. I wasn't quite sure why, and it seemed a little much for the toy, but it once I got the screwdriver it was easy to take out of the box.

 My son immediately got all of the pieces out and started getting to work adding the train station to his train table, and having trains stop at the station. The station fit perfectly with the other Thomas and Friends tracks I had, as well as the other wooden tracks that I already had. There was a slight uneven-ness in one of the connectors (see photo) But it really didn't affect the trains.

My son really enjoyed playing with the Baker and, since he's in a doughnut phase right now, loved having all of the other people come up to the train station and order donuts from the Baker. The Baker can also sit in the train car and he liked putting the baker in the train car and zooming him around the tracks. He also liked putting other things in the train car, like people, and trees and signs and pretty much anything else that a three-year-old would want to put in a train car.

 Now, the one thing I have to say is that it doesn't seem that the station itself is wooden. It may be made of a wooden and plastic combination, but it really doesn't seem like it's all wood. Again that's not a big deal for me, but it may be a big deal for other parents who insist on all wood toys for their kids. I added a picture so you can see what I'm talking about. This may seem like a nitpicky thing, But I know some families who would feel that they may not have gotten the wood toy that they thought they bought. I don't think that would've been such a big deal if the word WOOD was not so big on the front of the packaging.

 Overall, this train set was a big hit. Especially since there were donuts involved. I'm not sure how special and different this train set is versus other train sets, but my son really enjoys playing with it and it's a permanent part of his train set up. Everybody needs to stop now and then for a sweet treat.

The station set comes with the station, 2 characters, a train car, a bench, a clock and 2 pieces of track. I like that the set is made of wood. It doesn't have any small pieces that I have to worry about around my son. The Knapford Train Station can connect to other Thomas wooden sets to build even bigger sets. My son's only complaint was that he wanted more track to be included. He has been very happy playing with this Train Station!

Cute product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thomas and Friends Wood Knapford Train Station set is a fun addition to my son's train collection.  The station itself is not large, but has a little food service built in. Two figures come with the set, a chef and a passenger. Both have swivels in their hips so they can sit on the bench or in the passenger car (both included). There's also a grandfather clock, and two track adapters.  These allowed us to connect Knapford station to another brand of wooden tracks. 
Overall this is a fun addition to my son's playtime.  It could use a few more accessories in order to hold a child's attention longer, but along with his other sets my son enjoys it.

Small but fun set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My household received this toy for free to review. I must say that I am disappointed in the quality of this. It says wood, but it feels like cheap plastic. It does not match the quality of our Thomas Wooden Railway sets. There isn't a lot you can do with this, but if you have a set you want to complete with this piece, it's ok.
