[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this in exchange for a review, and my 3 year old loves it. His Favorite part is being able to lift the cargo out of the train cars with the little magnetic construction guy. We've had it for a couple weeks now, and so far it's held up just fine. It seems like it's very good quality, so I'm sure he will be able to enjoy it for quite some time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddos love trains and cars and have been asking for a train set. They were so excited and couldn't wait to rip open the box. It was easy to assemble and I've never seen them so excited about a toy. Best part for them was being able to lift and load cargo out of the bed of the train.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves his new set.  He was so excited to open it.  I love the fact that the new tracks have different connectors and that the set came with conversion pieces to add the new tracks to the old tracks.  The magnet on this set is great too (it seems better then past Thomas sets).  I do think that the lifting pieces that move the boxes back and forth, should have a bit more weight to them so they do not tip over so easily.  My son played with this set until bedtime the first night and most of the next day.  We also liked that it came with a figure as none of our other Thomas sets have ever come with people.  The new design to the switch is great also as I think that there will be far less breaking of knobs.  He loved the fact that the set came with ramps too because we do have a few of the non-train pieces such as bertie the bus, flynn and winston that do still work on the tracks, now he has a way to drive them up onto the tracks.  He was able to move the cargo pieces back and forth with some ease, a little frustrated at times when the piece would fall over if he was not holding it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4-year-old son could not contain himself when he saw the cargo set.  He immediately ripped open the box and set it up.  He played with it for hours, setting it up different ways and connecting it to the train track set he already had. In his words, it's "very super cool."  He plays with it on a daily basis since he received it.  It is very well made and it's a plus that it comes with adapters to connect to other wooden train sets.

Lots of Play Time!!

Unfortunately, this set does not connect with the other wood tracks we have. It does come with two adapters but there are 4 ends, so you end up with two ends that canât connect to other things. If you dont care about that, then itâs a 5 star set, but for us, it was a disappointment

Not compatible with other wood tracks

The crane pieces are fun but my child was very disappointed the set only came with two little pieces to connect the Thomas wooden tracks to his other wooden track sets. I don't think we will be purchasing any more Thomas wooden tracks, they are over priced and pretty much useless.
