I bought this for my 2 year old grandson who loves Thomas. This train is just big enough for him and keeps him occupied for more than 10 minutes. Does not have a lot of parts and is easy to put together. Good value for money.

Great toy for a young child.

I like this play set because kids can play without constant adult intervention to fix something. I hope it holds up to normal abuse from a 4 yr old. So far, so good.

Hits the spot for pre schoolers

I have bought other train sets in the past and absolutely love this one. The other sets were unable to be moved easily. The Thomas and Friends All Around Sodor was surable enough for my 2 & 3 year old. It is interactive and I don't feel like it will bw broken like some of the other train sets. My child loves that it talks to him he watches Thomas and plays with his set at the same time every morning he loves that It talks to him. I really really love that we can move it from room to room with out having to worry about all of the pieces and putting it back together again. The pieces are easyto figure out over and over again. Buy this train as your first for sure!!!! My child's attention span is horrible and this keeps his all of the time for up to an hour! Whoohoo!!!!! Enough Said!

Best Train Set every

My two year old absolutely loves this train set, it's well made, durable and lots of fun. He likes playing with Thomas and Cranky, although he does like to remove Tidmouth sheds so he can sit in the middle of the track. It definitely holds his attention and overall it's a wonderful toy. Unfortunately, there aren't any available expansions or extra trains because I'd like to have Toby, James, or some extra cars like Annie and Claribel for him to play with too, and he keeps asking for them.

Great Train Set

My son received several Thomas toys for Christmas, and this has caused the least trouble, or hasn't broken within the month. The tracks stay together, so you're not constantly fixing them, like with other tracks. Thomas talks and has a moving mouth and eyes, he talks to other trains at the station and Cranky. Works very well off of the track. Out of all of the Thomas toys my son received, this has been my favorite.

Nice toy

My nephew loves stuff that moves on its own. I thought, why not buy a train set that he can watch. Went searching at the store and found this. This is super easy to set up and move around after it is set up. It all moves in one piece for putting on carpet then on table (if cleaning). He loves it!!! he will watch and watch. Laugh and laugh. Really the layout is all that can be done, so I am going to see if there are addition tracks that can be purchased to add on. I paid $35.00 plus tax. Not bad, but the train really just goes around. Good overall.

A good starter (basic) train set!

Easy to assemble, can be left on for as long as you or your child desires, many fun phrases and easy for toddlers to use! If you are looking for a train track that is expandable, this one is not for you. Overall, I knew what I was purchasing for my son and he loves it!

Great Beginners Train Set!

My 2 year old loves to play with this toy all the time. Thomas engine is amazing runs on carpet too without track.

The train set has only what you see. There are no cars or track that you can purchase to add to it. We returned it and bought a different which has smaller parts but can be added to.
