[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had new porches built and decided to let them use this on it. We had weeks and weeks of rain. it seems to be good protection so far. I did go out and purchase more to finish our other projects. Hoping it holds up for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Thompson’s WaterSeal on wood, and I was very happy with the results! It’s very easy to use and apply, and it goes on evenly and doesn’t affect the appearance of the wood. Although it advises letting it dry completely for 24hrs, I found that it dries quickly (but I do still recommend waiting the full 24hrs before any water exposure). On my test piece pictured, you can see the water beading up where the waterproofer was applied. I’ll be interested to see how well it holds up over time and with consistent exposure, but so far I’m very satisfied with no complaints!

Works Well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to waterproof our swingset so this came at the perfect time. It was really easy to apply and once dry it works well. Water beads up nicely and runs off keeping our swingset dry. It cured much quicker than I though it would which was nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thompson's waterseal is a solid product that provides great protection against weather for all surfaces. Thompson's is not my favorite brand, but it is a very good brand. This sealant is easy to apply to any and all surfaces (wood, brick, concrete, etc.). This can is easy to pour and the screw-on cap makes it easy to store for re-use. Overall, a solid product to protect your outside furniture, supports, decks, etc.

Says it goes on to clear drives White I don't know how much longer it has to drive because the white residue is dry to the touch the stuff used to be good now it's junk

Crap

First time I have used Thompson water seal since it went water based. Will never use again. Bring back the old formula. I use to apply it all the time, loved it. New water based formula sucks. Will not buy again.

Once applied, this sealer caused dark streaks to form on your driveway that we are told may or may not disappear over time!  I do NOT like the way it looks on my driveway and ceased using the product once it became evident what was going on!

Do Not Buy for Concrete Driveway!
