I bought this gas cooktop back in mid November to replace a 20 yr. old GE top of the line cooktop that still worked but had seen better days.  I love the new cooktop.  Not thrilled that it is stainless steel, but I finally found a cleaner that works well!  The cooktop itself works great.  The 18K burner I love especially when you have to boil a big big pot of water, it takes almost 10 mins. off cook time.  I couldn't be happier with it.  I know some have complained no simmer burner, but I found that is not a problem.  I had a simmer burner on my last cooktop, and I found it took a lot longer cook time to use that burner, so I have no complaints.  Love love the new cooktop especially the grates which allow me to tranfer a pot to another burner without lifting the pot.  That's a god send!

We bought this after frigidaire gallery cooktop with glass top EXPLODED ACROSS THE KITCHEN of out new house. To replace we decided on the THOR TGC3601. Love the look, the price, the features. So far. Extremely happy with our decision! Hoping to add the griddle attachment next!

Excellent cooktop

U bought this recently installed a Thor gas cooktop in my kitchen, and I can confidently say—it's one of the best upgrades I've made. True to its name, this cooktop brings serious firepower to the kitchen, just like the hammer-wielding Norse god it's named after.

The first thing you notice is the solid, professional-grade design. The heavy-duty cast iron grates feel rugged and reliable, and the stainless steel finish gives it a clean, high-end look. It feels like a serious piece of equipment—and it is.

Cooking on this Thor gas cooktop is a pleasure. The high-BTU burners (especially the front ones) are beasts when it comes to boiling water or stir-frying, and the control is smooth and precise when you need to simmer or sauté. The flame is consistent, responsive, and easy to control—something you can't always say about other gas cooktops in this price range.

What I really appreciate is how well the cooktop is laid out. There's plenty of space between burners, even when using larger pans. Cleaning is also surprisingly easy thanks to the sealed burners and the smooth surface.

Thor Kitchen really nailed the name on this one—this cooktop brings the kind of raw cooking power and control that makes you feel like you're wielding the culinary version of Mjölnir. If you're looking for a gas cooktop that's powerful, reliable, and built like a tank, Thor delivers.

I Highly recommended for home chefs who want commercial-grade performance without breaking the bank.

Powerful, Reliable, and Worthy of the name

I had a 4 burner gas stove top but wanted 6 burners and we came across the Thor brand. I love to cook now. There is plenty of room to cook a complete meal.  The different sizes / btu's makes it easy to cook at the right temperature.  I can cook something and then move it to a different burner to simmer.  I wish I would have had this before.   And the lighted knobs are brilliant!

I have just purchased and hooked up my Thor cook top! I was so surprised by the sleek beautiful look of the cook top with the illuminated blue knobs. The company that hooked up my cook top was very impressed with the look and special features it has, that most don't. It comes with a wok holder for cooking which works perfectly. I love the large burner as gives so much more distributed heat. It heats up fast and cook's evenly. So far extremely impressed. Thanks Thor!

WORK PERFECT!

I absolutely love this cooktop. I love the size of the burners, my only complaint it that there is no medium burner up front. This cooktop is stunning to look at.

THC3601

Having the extra 6 inches really does make a huge difference. Before we couldn't really use two burners at once and now we can. Huge time saver for a large family!

We love it!

We bought this unit several months ago to replace an old Dacor. Right away I noted that the small burner had 3000 lass BTUs than the Dacor. This means the THOR has true simmer burners, which I am thrilled about. Only time will tell how well the spark box holds up, but so far I love this unit.
