I designed my entire kitchen remodel around this range—even going as far as running propane to the house since natural gas wasn't an option. I'll admit, that made me a little nervous at first; it's a big investment to build around one appliance. But I couldn't be happier with the decision.
This range has been a total game changer. It's incredibly easy to use, beautifully crafted, and delivers outstanding cooking performance. It truly elevated both the look and functionality of my kitchen.

Exceeded Expectations

Recently replaced my old gas stove which was a commercial stove..  the new stove is so much better updated with such great features and new technology such as air fryer, and the probe is a game changer and takes the guess work out of cooking roasts etc..

Great product and quality at great price

I recently purchased the Thor HRD3606U dual fuel range to replace a 20-year-old professional range from another high-end manufacturer.

It's only been a few days since installation, but so far, I couldn't be happier. Aesthetically, this range is beautiful and looks great in my kitchen. I appreciate the stainless steel finish, the real metal knobs that feel strong and sturdy, and the oven door that feels rock-solid and closes smoothly. The blue porcelain interior is strikingly different from other ranges, and the oven is well-lit with two staggered lights. The large oven window is another nice touch.

In terms of performance, the stovetop burners are excellent. I can't explain the science behind it, but when boiling water on this new range, it boils differently—the entire base of the pot heats evenly, producing bubbles across the whole bottom, something I didn't experience with my previous professional range. A simple push-and-turn of the knob activates the gas and igniter, and cooking begins—it's quite elegant. This range includes three 18,000 BTU burners (which I've used for boiling water) and three lower BTU burners for various cooking needs, including two that go as low as 650 BTUs—barely lit, but perfect for melting butter or chocolate or keeping something gently warm.

Oven performance is equally impressive. I hate to keep comparing it to my previous range, but the lower heating element has more twists and turns and covers a much larger portion of the oven bottom. It's also protected by a removable cover for easier cleaning. The upper heating element is similarly robust, providing a more even and powerful heat source, especially when used with the included broiler pan (a welcome surprise, since I didn't see it mentioned in the product description). While I can't speak scientifically, the hand test in a warm oven suggests very even heat distribution. The convection fan is nearly silent, and the ball-bearing sliding racks are a pleasure to use.

Back to aesthetics for a moment—I'd be remiss not to mention the striking blue LED lights that illuminate when a burner is on, or when the oven light or convection fan is active. Not only do they look cool, but they also provide a clear visual indicator that the range is in use.

All in all, I couldn't be more pleased—this is one heck of a range!

Great look and feel

Great minimalistic design that is the center of the attention everytime someone comes over! I love it's heavy cast iron cooking grates and the burners strength adjustments. Everything is so high quality and for such a good price.

Sleek design

We bought the range over a month ago. Its looks beautiful, and works like a dream! Burners are good size and the Range is being used for cooking in multiple pots simultaneously. Great size for a small kitchen!

Great performance

I purchased the range 5 weeks ago and the installation team did a great job.  We cooked breakfast and baked biscuits this morning and performance was great.

Sleek finish!

We are trying to locate a new 40" All Electric, hopefully Dual Oven, hopefully 5 French plate Burners, Non-Intruding Convection Fan/Oven, very simple, very high quality, & very durable free-standing range to replace our current range that can no longer be repaired. If we have to settle for 36" then we may have to do that & leave a gap. We hope that Thor will have what we need.

Simple High Quality

I just completed a whole house renovation. I did TONS of research before buying this range. It's an amazing value with the look and performance of ranges twice the price. This is a well made range.  You have to get used to the powerful burners. An indicator of a good range is its range of power, pun intended! And this has everything from simmer to quick boil. I was surprised to see the burners are all marked made in Italy! I love the large size and always have ample space for my pots/pans when cooking. The griddle takes getting used to also- note the back gets hotter than the front. I've made pancakes, eggs, veggies for fajitas etc. You should really clean griddle right away and use sufficient oil when cooking so things don't stick. The griddle is built in, can't remove it. Regarding the ovens- WOW the range weighs over 400 lbs and the oven doors are heavy as heck. Which keeps the heat in. My 10 month old son licks the glass, while it's on, lol, and it's safe for him to touch due to a properly insulated double walled oven door. Make sure you have proper ventilation when using this range. My callouts: I have no idea how I'm ever going to be able to replace/move the range. It's very heavy. One of the back burners “clicks” sometimes when it's lit. You have to keep an eye on the small oven. I burned two dishes. I've since gotten a thermometer. It preheat correctly but the read at the top end of the oven cavity was highe than my setting. Not sure if that's normal considering heat rises. One day the large oven fan made some loud noises when running, but hasn't happend since. I wish this range had indicator lights if the cooktop was being used. There were approx 30-40 reviews on this item/brand when I bought it. . The range lives up to mostly positive reviews. The main question is how long will it last without giving any problems. Even people with high end ranges complain about things. Thor provides a two year warranty and I bought it on my credit card which doubles it. Hopefully I won't have to use it. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
