I am very happy with my Koblenz Floor Shampooer/Polisher. I had an old Regina Floor Shampooer/Polisher for years, which finally died. I have looked for a quality product to replace it and this is perfect. I have wood floor in my home and it did a wonderful job. Would recommend this product

Great Floor Polisher

The Koblenz p820 is a very good floor polisher/scrubber.  I bought to scrub laundry room and bathroom linoleum tile floors and it does that very well.  I can't speak about carpets though since I have a dedicated carpet cleaning machine.  The Koblenz has a variety of brushes and pads available online to fit it.  I have no regrets about the purchase and would buy again if need be.

A good buy!

I have used this product for years. It will remove stuck on dirt and greasy film from the floors.
One of the best features is that I can add a disinfectant to the cleaning solution. Now I have a germ free and dirt free flooring. Great for sickrooms and kitchens. My house smells so fresh. I also noticed
it is harder for the new dirt to stick so heavy scrubbing is not needed as often.

I purchased one like this years ago and paid twice the price and it didn't have the water tank on it. I read the other comments before I bought this one and the negative statements were not true. The one about it not standing alone and have to lean it on a wall is true but not a problem. The cord is plenty long and the trigger to apply not a big problem, I just change fingers when on gets tired. The product is better then I though it would be for the price.

Excellent

In all my years of owning Saint Bernards.......Their's nothing worse on rainy days then drewling and muddy pawed furry friends , tracking up the carpets. I love my carpet shampooer, and since the move we now have hardwood floors and it has cleaned and polished them in no time flat, and I did it all myself. The money i have saved made up for it in the first use after purchasing.

Most economical way to clean your carpets!

This machine performed better than expected. I was afraid it would pump out too much liquid as described by other users, but I realized that it releases the fluids whenever you pull the trigger.

News Flash!
For those who complained about the amount of fluid, let go of the trigger and it will stop squirting fluid. That's a no-brainer.

You will still need to mop the floor after using the scrubber because all it does is scrub to release the dirt and grime on the floor, there is no built-in wet-vac to remove the dirty water (that would have been a nice feature).

Great Floor Scrubber

I had problems with the water dispensing, I telephoned tech support and they inform me that the faulty part is being sent to me.  It was hard for them to diagnose over the phone, so I ended up taking it apart but at least found the problem.  I am using this product to scrub 30 year old tile, amazing how much dirt it brought up.  The grout looks a little better but didn't expect much there but it did remove toothpaste etc that formed in the grout lines.  I used my hoover carpet shampooer to pick up the wet residue which is when you really see how much dirt was lying dormant, recommend using hoover cleaning solution so that you don't mess up your shampooer.  I haven't used the polishing pads yet so can't say much about that. Happy with this product would be nice if it picked up the water which is why I gave 4 stars

good scrubbing action

I bought this rug cleaner to replace an old Electrolux carpet cleaner, and I must say, I have been impressed. The price of this cleaner was just $40 more than a new set of brushes for the old cleaner.
This unit is used for cleaning carpet, area rugs and tile floors. The scrubbing action is great. It was powerful enough to clean a 10x12 ft rug in 15 minutes. I've cleaned five rugs and two large tile floors, and have been happy with the results.

The thing you have to take note of, is that this cleaner does not vacuum up the water. It is a scrubber/buffer only. When I use it on area rugs, I take them to the driveway, scrub, rinse, then squeegee off the excess water, then leave them to dry. On carpets indoor, I either use one of the dry foam type cleaners and vacuum after dry, or scrub, then use a wet/dry vac to remove excess water.

The amount of water released when pulling the trigger is kind of scant, so if I am outdoors, I just pour a bucket of soapy water on the rug. On tile floors, the amount released is okay, but you will still have to wet/dry vac, mop, or use towels to clean up the dirty water.

Overall, I think this scrubber is a great deal for the good job it does, and the versatility of the machine.

inexpensive and effective

Light weight to carry. Cleans well on hardwood. Little confusing on exactly which brushes you have because you need to match the brush to the surface type (wood, tile, vinyl). Sure saved a LOT of elbow grease. Easy for my wife to use too. Purchased $147. Will order extra brushes that weren't included.

Works Well

I bought this machine to buff my floors. Cant believe sold as a buffer. It comes with a couple buffer pads that do not attach to the machine. You sit the buffer pads on the floor under pads that are attached for cleaning and hold against the floor and try to keep the 2 buffing pads from flying out. Without the pads being connected and not enough weight of the machine it does no type of buffing. Did not try to see how cleaned since I only ordered it to buff and will return it.
