[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this thing is kind of creepy. My grandson LOVES it! He happily takes it and goes to sleep on his own. It does some times humm for no reason (adds to the creepy) but whatever gets him to sleep alone, I will manage.

Kind of creepy

walmart.com

Bought this as a gift for my great-niece. She absolutely loves interacting with this adorable bear. She especially likes how his heart lights up.

Fun interactive toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved to play with that bear, it sings to you, talks to you and songs for bedtime! She just outgrew it this year, but it's such a cute bear to have the first years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thready Bear is so adorable!! I love that his eyes actually move. My daughter (whom i got it for, shes 7) she loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i hot this as a gift. I thought it was a bit exoensive for a teddy bear, but it is interactive.
My boy wanted it...I see it was sold out on Amazon. I think it will. e a hot Christmas item. Gey it soon!

Get it soon!

This bear is super creepy. It is not very responsive, especially on the head and belly, even after troubleshooting and with fresh new batteries. It does not speak any real words, only gibberish and humming. There are really only a few expressions, definitely not the 70 expressions and sounds advertised. Overpriced and not that fun. Would not recommend and may return.

disappointed

I bought this for my three year old granddaughter for her birthday! I saw it on Instagram. When it arrived I thought it was rather creepy looking but it's a popular brand of toy (Maker of Bluey - Moose Toys). For some reason I thought this might be one of the hot toys of the year for a girl that age. Well my granddaughter opened it on her birthday and it was so much of a downer. She was not interested in it at all. The noises it makes are horrible. It's mechanisms are loud too. The good thing is Walmart is so wonderful about returns that I called them and they will accept the return. It had been opened and the box had to be destroyed because it was so secured to the box. Thanks Walmart for good service!

What a stupid toy!

I purchased the Thready Bear Interactive 14" Plush Teddy Bear for my granddaughter, and while it's a neat concept, it really fell short of expectations. The packaging claims it has 70 expressions and reactions, but it definitely does not. The bear is cute, but for the price, it just doesn't offer enough interactive features to justify the cost.

One thing that really didn't sit right with me, or my granddaughter's parents, was that the bear makes you take a sort of "oath" or promise, which felt odd and unnecessary for a children's toy. As a result, my granddaughter doesn't play with it, and it's been sitting unused since we got it. I would have returned it, but I no longer have the box. Overall, it's an interesting idea, but not worth the money and definitely something we regret purchasing.

Doesn't do what it says and make you make an oath

I ordered this bear for my grandsons 2nd birthday, it was delivered by UPS in a timely manner.
I thought I would set it up before I gave it to him and was happy that I did because all it did was close its eyes, apparently it has 70 different functions!
I followed the instructions step by step, so it definately was faulty.
I returned it to the store and reordered it in hopes the bear the next one works.
I will update my review after I receive the second bear.

Bear was not working

My kid loved this bear but it stopped working less than 2 weeks after opening it. I'll try to exchange it but a kids toy should be more durable.

Stopped working after less than 2 weeks
