Very nice surprise. It is well-made Beer sharp so you gotta be careful not to grate your fingers lol.

Worth every penny

Easy to use, easy to clean.
I was also surprised at how quickly I was able to grate an entire wedge of parmesean with minimal effort. I did not have to apply a lot of pressure to work through a wedge. It also zests citrus easily.

I hated that it's gold, lol, but it's growing on me. I needed a microplane for zesting, and this was all i saw so I grabbed one. It works great, and regardless of the color, I love it. Thyme and Table is one of my favorite brands. They make sprucing up your kitchen, easy, beautiful and affordable.

Works well and looks pretty

It does the job. I've only used it once so I dont know how it'll hold up.

This zester seems to be dangerous. It's hard to use as in it is not a smooth grate but rather jumps off the citrus. Maybe it's because the shaft is so long. I ended up with cuts on my knuckles from it jumping off of a lemon I was zesting.

Be careful

Cover doesn't cover the sides so they are extremely sharp. So sharp, you can cut yourself just by touching the sides!

length was good however the side edges on the back of the device were very and unnecessarily sharp instead of being rolled to avoid the sharpness.

sharp edges on back edges

Just buy a brand name microplane. This is unbelievably worthless. Tried to zest a lime. Instead of passing smoothly over and generating bits of zest, the lime got stuck on quite literally every single blade. Said blades did not scrape a tiny bit of zest of either, oh know, it dug deep into the flesh, way deeper than it needs to be, biting all the way into the bitter pith. Absolutely unfit for purpose. Literally just generates more waste that's going into a landfill. Unbelievable.

Worthless

This microplane grater looks beautiful, but the packaging states it's NOT dishwasher safe and must be handwashed. The product description claims this item is top rack dishwasher safe. I've had a microplane brand zester for years and have always been able to throw it into the dishwasher. Bought this gold toned one for a second home. For a metal product to not be dishwasher safe tells me it's very low quality stainless steal. Be advised

Not dishwasher safe! Beware of Item Description

I thought this was a super cute zester. gold and black is the color of most stuff in my kitchen so I was excited to see this. The issue is it sucks! The back is so sharp it sliced into my hand when I tried to press the cover on. Very dangerous going right into the trash.

Back is very sharp like a knife.

Thyme & Table Micro Grater, Gold with a black ergonomic handle and protective white cover, featuring a long, narrow gold micro fine blade for grating hard cheeses, garlic, and zesting citrus, ideal kitchen utensil for adding flavor and texture.
