I use the knives all the time actually there's not been a knife I haven't used and I've not had to sharpen them yet, but when I do it comes with it's own knife sharpener. It sits on the corner of my counter and matches my kitchen with a perfect little splash of color. I love it. It would definitely would make a great gift!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice cutlery set. Super pretty color, looks awesome on my counter. I normally store my knives in drawers because I love a clean clutter free counter but it's killing my knife blades. This set is beautiful. The knives cut awesome. I haven't used the sharpener because my brother is a knife sharpener and I have him sharpen all my knives so that is more for decor for me. It's also nice to have a pair of scissors strictly for food instead of being mixed up with everyday scissors.

These are super sharp, great for chopping veggies and meat to prepare meals.

Great for food prep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I expected these to be low quality because of the low price. They are better than I expected. They certainly are not high quality chef knives, but I think they would be a good option for home cooks who do not use their knives daily. Everyone commented on the color which matches my MCM kitchen. I can recommend them for the average home cook. I would not recommend them for daily use, and I do not think they would last very long with quarterly professional sharpening.

Good quality for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife set is not bad! It isn't the best set I have ever owned but it is of decent quality. I used the chef's knife to slice up a few apples and the bread knife to cut off the crusts for some grilled cheese for my kids. I really like the feel of the chef's knife. It has a decent weight and balance to it. It feels pretty sharp and cutting up the apples was very easy. The bread knife I was not impressed with but it still did the job. It is not the sharpest bread knife I have ever used. It works well enough that I won't be looking for a replacement for the time being but I wish it was a lot sharper. The scissors open and close easily. I have never had a set that came with the sharpening rod so this will be an interesting addition for me. I can't speak for how well that works as the knives are new but I like the idea of being able to maintain the knives on my own. The smaller knife is really great for things like grapes and tomatoes. If you are looking for a beautiful set to keep on your counter than this is a good choice! If you plan on keeping knives in a drawer anyway then I do believe you could find sharper knives out there. Overall I am happy with this knife set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, just taken out the knife block itself was super cute! I loved the design along the upper sides of the wood, and the soft baby blue is such a pretty color! Then as i was stocking it with the utensils, i noticed that the grips on the knifes were both sturdy and the slightest bit rubbery so it wouldnt be uncomfortable to hold. The only downside is i feel the slits for the knives and utensils are too wide, so the items are sitting in the block all loosey goosey. Im a bit of a clutz so it can be a bit concerning for me if this were to topple and all the utensils would spill out
