Our kids love this game!  It is not as complicated as the adult version but just as fun. My seven year old picked up on it after playing with a partner one time.  Great gift idea too!  I've ordered several for christmas gifts and birthdays.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 yr old grandson.  He, his brothers ages 8 and 10, parents and I all loved playing Ticket to Ride Jr and did so several times over the holiday period.  It was a lot of fun and the grandkids learned a bit of US geography, e.g. cities, coasts, what cities are known for, etc.  I plan to purchase the regular version of Ticket to Ride for them soon since they enjoyed Jr so much.  Having played Jr they'll be in a good position to move to the next, more complicated version.

My 4 year old loves this game. The pictures for each city make it so easy for her to play as well

This is such a fun family game! We played this with our family members who have 2 young daughters- 8 and 9 years old. The kids and adults loved it! We liked it so much we bought one for ourselves and one for another family we are close with.

Fun for the whole family!

I've played the adult version of this game and was surprised that I actually preferred the children's version.  My grandkids LOVED playing this, and I loved playing a game with STRATEGY and purpose with them.  (So much better than Candyland type games!!)

A game you won't mind playing with kids

We are use to playing the adult version of Ticket to Ride. The child's version was different and a bit harder to understand! 
My granddaughter who is 8 didn't love it! 
We play a lot of games !

It wasn't what I that it was. Pretty complicated to play the game my grandson just plays with the trains he 6 and I bought the game for his age..
