Ticket to Ride: Rails & Sails takes the familiar gameplay of Ticket to Ride and expands it across the globe — which means that you'll be moving across water, of course, and that's where the sails come in. As in other Ticket to Ride games, in Ticket to Ride: Rails & Sails players start with tickets in hand that show two cities, and over the course of the game they try to collect colored cards, then claim routes on the game board with their colored train and ship tokens, scoring points while doing so. When any player has six or fewer tokens in their supply, each player takes two more turns, then the game ends. At that point, if they've created a continuous path between the two cities on a ticket, then they score the points on that ticket; if not, then they lose points instead.

Ideal for family game nights and children as young as 10.

It's the advanced game and not for beginners in the series. But, that's it's fun. You have to play trains and boats on routes and have 2 sets of cards to manage.  Plus harbors to setup with certain cards. We love it.  The game board also has 2 sides for the players to choose a location for playing.

One of our favorite board games! If you have tried any other Ticket to ride games, this one is a step up. This game will take longer (especially if you play with people that take their time) than a normal ticket to ride game, but there is also more strategy involved. Wouldn't recommend for any kids under the age of 10 unless the have a really good grip on other Ticket to ride expansions.

Great game that teaches a both geography and a lot of strategy.

Great game. Super fun. Great for families as my 10-year-old was able to earn it pretty quickly. The only critique I have is that the game ends after someone has played enough pieces. I'd rather there be a higher limit so the game could go longer.

Counterfeit

This is a fraudulent knock off. Lower quality everything board game. Thanks Walmart. This is the 2nd bogus game received for the 2nd time. Never again!  Don't waste your money on Walmart games.
