Overall Quality

Free of dyes and perfumes, suitable for sensitive skin types.

Offers competitive pricing, but can be steep for some users.

Removes difficult food and grass stains easily.

I like this detergent because it's clean and since my daughter has eczema and she's sensitive to smile, I love that after washing clothes in this detergent, it doesn't have any strong smell. You can feel freshness very gentle on the skin.

Works great, removes stains and odors, no strong smells, no dyes. Best of all my family doesn't have skin irritation from this detergent!

No colors, no smells, no itching!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a user of Tide for years including the Free & Clear brand for years simply because I found myself having increased allergy issues when I used the scented ones. Not only is it free of scents and dyes but it does a great job at cleaning my close. The packaging keeps it easiest to handle from one place to another and with clean clothes, the drying process is even better. This item is worth the value.

Fresh and Clean with Tide Free & Clear

tide.com

Clean ingredients are very important to me, but let's be real, “all natural” detergent doesn't get the clothes clean. This stuff WORKS. It gets all the dirt and food stains off of my toddler clothes. It's a great alternative to the all natural stuff. No fragrance. It doesn't irritate my newborn or toddler's skin.

this is the only detergent I can use with my kids. their skin is so sensitive! and it has enzymes in it! which you really want if you have kids lol. I used this when I cloth diapered my son too, thanks to having enzymes in it! it's more expensive then other brands but absolutely worth every penny!

best laundry detergent!

We have used gentle, perfume and color free products for a while now. We've tried competing brands and find Tide to be the best. Other manufacturers "free and gentle" products would leave us itching. Tide does not. It cleans better and needs less product to get the job done. When it's on sale, it is only minimally more expensive than others, but much better in quality

Market leader for a reason

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This detergent works great for our family! My two younger sons and I have eczema-prone skin and I also have sensitivity to fragrance, and none of us have ever had reactions wearing clothes, sleeping on sheets, or using towels washed in Tide Free & Gentle. My workout clothes and my oldest son's sport uniforms come out clean and fresh-smelling as well. If your family has sensitivity to dye or fragrance, I highly recommend this detergent and continue to purchase this for our home.

Great for sensitive skin and noses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like how it's mainly non-toxic, although some ingredients still may be not completely non-toxic. It cleaned my clothes well and has been gentle on my skin since I'm very sensitive to laundry detergent!

Close to being completely non-toxic!

For a Senior Citizen, the cap and turning of the spout does Not work well - it's too tight and impossible to do. Seniors cannot squeeze the sides of the cap while also trying to turn the cap. Surely a better way of dispensing this product can be developed so that all custimers can be able to use it. all curtomers are not make. yiubf, and strong in the hands. Please consider us seniors, who do spend money for products. too , when designjng your containers.. If we can't open it, we wont buy it and will find another product to use.

It's more gentle on fabrics than All Free and Clear but it's still not suitable for sensitive skin. I used less soap than recommended and a double rinse. My skin was itchy, bumpy, and dry. I had high hopes for this because it removes stains really well, but my skin just can't handle it.

Not for sensitive skin
