Tide pods has been my wife's preferred laundry cleaning agent since this type of detergent became commercially available. And i like this too as it is very convenient to use - no mess or liquid/powder spills on floors or on the washing machine itself.

Convenience and Avoidance of floor spills/mess

walmart.com

These are surprisingly effective. Using 2 per load. The smell it leaves in clothes is really amazing, and long lasting..as good as adding Boost. It's scent is great and the opposite of Gain so if you love Gain this will seem mild.

These pods are reasonable priced and handy to use. The packaging saves room for storage - no big bulky plastic box/jug. Reliable product. Love the fresh small and as always, Tide cleans clothes very well.

Handy to Use

I like to choose my scent as my boys have skin allergies to different scents. The Ocean Mist works the best for this purpose.

My boys like to dunk the pods into the wash machine. Convenient and easy to use.

Packaged appropriately for the product as I had it shipped to my home.

Tide cleans well

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!

Wow. I never thought I'd be excited about clothes detergent, but these Tide Pods really are phenomenal. They are low-sudsing, super clean rinsing and leave the perfect amount of fresh scent on your laundry. Each pod contains a detergent, an enzymatic stain remover, and color-safe whiteners or "brighteners" as Tide refers to them. Also, the 3 chambers separate the active ingredients to avoid them from reacting with each other chemically until the very moment they dissolve. The 3-chamber design was a stroke of genius!

In hot water, they dissolve in mere seconds - less than 2 minutes in cold water. They dissolve completely and quickly with no residue of any kind. All this for for about 25 cents! One pod is enough for a full load of pretty dirty clothes; (once in a great while....when the laundry is exceptionally filthy, I'll pre-rinse them w/o any detergent (in warm water) first and then one Pod is enough.) I've never needed two Pods for a single load of laundry.

There is only one little issue with the Pods: you must be VERY careful not to get them wet. DO NOT reach into the container with wet hands! It will cause them to rupture in the package, making quite an expensive mess. Please make sure your hands are bone-dry before reaching for one.

Tide hit a home-run!

PS: I like all the different scents just the same, too. My rating: 4.9 (The 0.1 point deduction is for the fact that you must keep them absolutely dry until use.)

The Best Detergent on the Planet!

In our new washing machine, we had to switch laundry detergents. As we tried different options ('name brand' %26 otherwise), these Tide pods quickly rose to the top for working well in the new machine, clothes feel good, smell good, and the pods themselves are definitely easy to use.

More $$ than some, but worth it.

It was an emergency and I couldn't drive to get laundry pods. Walmart delivered the next day. I knew Tide would clean. It was only 16 pods. I usually use something different at less cost, so I'll buy that when I have the time to go get it. Also I would use an eco-friendly product, but that's not going to be pods. Again, this was an emergency, cleaning needed to happen asap, and it needed to be easy, this was it. But the price is higher than other choices, both in money, and in the biosphere. This is definitely a case of knowing better, but needing it immediately. Glad it's only 16 pods.

For emergencies it's okay.

I would give this product 5 stars if they would dissolve in cold water. I always dissolve the pods in HOT water and agitate before filling the washer with cold water, then add items to the filled tub. The warm water setting does not dissolve the film. Even with these precautions, I have noticed small purple stains on white fabric. I really hope Tide will keep working on the pods because for convenience they can't be beat (if they would dissolve in cold water).

Use with care.

I love Tide. I used a different detergent and found I was very allergic. It took 2 months to figure out how to get rid of it. I was told to only use Tide and Downey when doing laundry, as that is what I have always used.

The Pods do a great job of getting clothes clean, at least dark clothes. Unfortunately, they ruined three of my white work shirts. They stained them purple. I tried washing the shirts again with liquid Tide and bleach, but the stains did not come out.
The pods did not stain my white sheets and towels, just white cotton clothing.

Stains some clothes
