Ease Of Installation

Quality

Service folks were helpful in making sure I had the right part--and suggested I also change out the non-return valves (and when I ended up puling those, it was clear that was definitely needed). Price was competitive, shipped and arrived promptly, and things are working good as new.

Good service advice, effective product

Original valves were installed in our 2 showers 20 years ago and the 1 with daily use had developed a drip. Replacing the valve Cartridge and 2 inlet check valves restored original operation hopefully for another 20 years.

Long term reliability

The cartridge works great.  
However, one of the shutoff valves to the valve body is leaking.   I believe I am the first person to shut it off to change the cartridge.  It started leaking when I turned it on.

Grohe pressure balance valve

Telephone rep asvised to buy online- better pricing..
Also easy to use website.  Quick and painless.
Exact part easy to find.  Grohe has become my preferred brand due to quality and attractiveness

Grohe Shower Cartridge

Original lasted a good 8 -9 years. A replacement lasted 2.5 years. Hope this recent replacement last longer.

Cartridge life.

Chad, my contact with your help desk, has been very helpful.  I am still waiting for several parts (gasket and anti-backflow valves) and guidance on how to finish the fixture replacement.

Replacement help

I pulled apart shower and replaced this part as it became stripped over time and would not turn off shower. Couldnt get plumber so did myself. Installed upside down (no biggie, except it now has slight drip when turned off.

User needs to be plumber

The product is easy to use and install, but I have had to buy a new one every year for the last 3 years.  The original one lasted almost 20 years and now every year it starts to leak and won't fully shut off after a year.  I hope this one works longer.

There are two kinds from the Reference Guide one called TIIEF and TII, both looks like has the same part number provided by Grohe help desk. I have to return, does not fit
