I've been using Tile tags for about 5 years. They're the only ones that worked. Can't speak on Apple Airtags as I have never owned any Apple devices. Tile helps you find keys with a jingle, also Geo locates them if left somewhere. You can also oush the button on your Tile to ring your misplaced phone. Adding the replaceable battery feature was great. The battery life for me has been at least 2 years on old units. I've had the new unit under 6 months, it's still fine. I highly recommend for those who misplace keys and phone often.

If your keys or whatever are lost and the phone app  tells you that your keys is at a certain address, but you can't figure out how you would have lost them there, believe it. The chip is right. Your keys are at that address. It will save you buying new keys!

If you've ever lost anything important, like your keys, this is a Must Have! I bought an Apple tag first, then found out it only tells you if they're closer to your vehicle or to your house, but doesn't help you find them!

This is AMAZING! Buy a tile, approximately $20 %26 hook it on your keychain. Download the app on your phone %26 connect them. Can't find one or the other, no problem! Push the tile to easily find your phone or ask your phone app to find your keys %26 hear sweet music to your ears! 

Good at misplacing multiple items, no problem! Get a tile that sticks on your remote or a credit card size one if you misplace it, even for your tablet or computer!! Several colors exist as well as different music for each!

No more crazy mornings looking for kid's backpacks or where the kids left your tablet!

If you're like me %26 put something in a safe place so you won't lose it, then forget where the safe place is; or you get busy in the morning helping your spouse or kids %26 you sat something down that you need for work but have no idea where you sat it, Tile has your back!! A must have for things you or others misplace! Even for an elderly person who's always losing their remote… no more time wasted searching %26 sometimes never finding!

Best Device Ever!!

Love how convenient and accurate this is. I gifted this to my best friend after her kid's school dropped her young daughter off at the wrong stop in her city. Fortunately she was found within half an hour and safe. My friend put this in her daughter's backpack and can now see where she is at any time.

I purchased this product only to ensure that car keys could be easily found.  I do not want or use the location finder to share my location.  I disliked the packaging as it was a struggle to remove the tile...but I also understand that the packaging may be designed for theft-determent.  I almost returned the tile because the app wants information that seems intrusive, and requires that I disable my battery saver feature on my phone.  I kept it only after I shut down its' constant and unwanted updates.

Fine if you like to share your life with Big Tech

I like that it's easy to hear when searching for it and also pairing to my phone however, I wish I could search for it from a further distance. I also like that you can use a reverse search with.  I sometimes use it to find my phone when I have my tile attached to my remote.

Great but not perfect

Unlike the 2020 mate model, the 2022 version does NOT have a user replaceable battery. So once it goes flat somewhere between the advertised 1-3 years it will be headed directly to a landfill and you will be forced to fork out another $25 for a new device. 

Furthermore if you decide to sign up for the "Premium" monthly plan you will be cheated out of the free battery replacement perk. Which honestly I'm not a fan of the premium plan anyways since it locks a basic local function, the left behind/disconnect feature, behind a paywall.

Do yourself a favor and either pay the extra for the Pro model or simply purchase the 2020 mate model which DOES have a user replicable battery. 

Honestly if you have an iPhone just get an AirTag, its about the same price as the pro and offers all of the functional features Tile locks behind a monthly subscription for free. Plus the find my network probably gives a better tracking feature overall anyways. Google really needs to offer something like that for android.

Anyways I will be returning mine... sadly dooming it to a landfill since these cant be deactivated and reused... and will getting an alternative. A real shame too since I really liked the device until I realized it was a major downgrade from last years model and is needlessly disposable.

Non-replaceable battery, E-Waste

Bought this tile because I lose many things without knowing where I last saw it. Since traveling soon I thought this would be great. But what I bought was taped up and I have been trying to follow instructions to turn it on. Nothing is working which sucks because I also Bought a 4-pack as well. That one has not come in yet though.

First buy Not working!

it doesnt work unless its in range of someone with the app on their phone.. if not it wont tell you anything..
