cleaned wedge then it worked good

Really to light to be effective for the long haul. Can split small short logs but too much effort required to use for medium to large logs. Needs to have longer stroke and heavier slide to power through even average wood.  I ground the wedge angle steeper and sharper and that helped but still too much work involved to split wood. Use a maul or wedge and sledgehammer, much easier.
