Works great! i opted to drill press a hole through the bar instead of using the set screws as i saw a lot of complaints about them so couldnt say much on that. Other than that ive used it on 2x4 and 2x6 boards and works just as described. Very easy to use.

Worked really well right out of the box. Only caution, the set screws on the bar should be snug not super tight. Also, you may want to invest on a ripping chain.  I burned through my cross cut chain pretty quickly. I put on a ripping chain and it was much better.

This thing works better than expected, make sure you use a perfect 2x6 as a guide or your cut lumber will mimic the 2x6

After experimenting with making a guide out of wood, I stumbled on this guide from Timber Tuff. It's way less than half of other guides I looked at. This works perfect on a Worx chainsaw. I turned eachscrew just 1/4 or 1/8 turn each time after making contact with the bar until they were pretty snug. Then after running the saw a couple minutes, I checked the screws several times.....no problems.
  Instead of screwing a 2x6 to my log, I put two 4x4's into the ground about 7 feet apart, and screwed one 3 foot 2x4 to each, about  20 inches from the ground. They have small stakes driven into the ground supporting the other end. The 2x6 lays across the two 2x4's and is held firmly in place by clamps. After each cut, I move the 2x6 over to the desired width. The log is firmly screwed to another piece of wood that is anchored to the ground. The Timber Tuff guide works perfect with this setup. If I want it portable, I put it on the little gas Homelite, grab a 2x6 and some screws and hit the woods!!

No instructions but not hard to figure out.
The clamping bolts may come loose allowing the chain to hit the tool, which kills your chain.  Better to drill holes in the bar but be aware that the bar material is incredibly hard to drill.  Have a lot of drill bits ready because you'll need them.

I only used it to cut live oak which is very hard wood.  It worked as expected although it took a lot longer to cut than I figured.

Slow but works as described.

This device is sturdy and works very well once I corrected the manufacturing defect. Two of the holes for receiving the set screws that hold it to the chainsaw bar were not threaded.  Fortunately I had the proper size metric tap and was able to thread them myself. It has been my experience that one has to expect this from cheap Chinese knockoff products, but with a little ingenuity and effort they can still be a bargain.  All of the parts were included and of course the instructions were poor except for the pictures.

Works Well Once I Fixed It

Broken, bar vice thingy snapped in half.  Made of Garbage pot metal would not recommend unless manufacturer changes the material its made out of. "do not over tighten". the instructions said. it broke well  before it was tight. drill your bar and use the bolts as suggested by instruction book..
