Timex watches are great for the price. I have purchased several over years and will continue to. Years ago if there was a problem with the watch you could contact the company and it would be made good. That's not the case now. I can imagine buyers will actually wear the watch out to where it is destroyed and expect Timex to provide a brand new watch. That's not cool guys. You want something free, go outside and take a deep breath! Taking advantage of store policy ruins it for others.

i have owned about 10 of these monsters over the years, one just as good as the next. could not find it on website for quite a while, then checked on a whim, and found it !! bought 2, just in case it disappeared again...buy extra web straps, they tend to wear out a lot sooner than the watch.

First tried this Timex style out during my days in the US submarine force, and the Indiglo feature was exactly what I needed in the 'low light' situations in a military environment.  This watch also works well for campers.  The watch has a timer and an alarm function.  It may not be the fanciest, most expensive watch on the market, but for me functionality is everything and that's why I bought 2 this time, making this the 4th time I've bought this watch style having used them for about 20 consecutive years now.

Practical and Simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We adopted my son at 8 months old. Soon after he was diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome which makes learning about many abstract concepts (like time) very difficult for him. Over the years we have bought several watches both analog and digital but he has had difficulty with all of them. Now at 16, he has become more aware of his need for scheduling and consistency. His routines are his connections and he is often in need of knowing what time it is. 
I ordered this watch for several reasons: 
First, it was a Timex and was waterproof so he doesn't ever have to take it off. Needing to take of his previous watches has resulted in watches getting lost or taken. 
Second, it has a large digital face with easy to read numbers but doesn't eat your wrist. 
Third, it had day, date and time so you can ask him not only what time but what day it is. This helps him keep track of not only daily but weekly schedules. When someone is unsure of the date, he can also help people out by looking at the month and date on the watch. The ability to offer folks help is a real winner in his book. 
Finally, it was relatively inexpensive so that if he DID happen to lose it, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Perfect for my Special Needs Son

This is my third Expedition/Chrono/Alarm/Timer watch.  I still have the first two and they still work, just scratched up a bit.  It is thin and does not snag on a sleeve when putting on a jacket.  It has 3 alarms which is very handy at certain times.  I use the Chrono all the time for various tasks.

Great Watch

this is the fourth Expedition watch I bought in the last 26 years. they are comfortable wear the appearance is nice and they have lasted a long time.

This is the second watch of this model I have purchased. My old one had two scratches on the face so I bought this one. Obviously, I like it.

Just want a watch on my wrist not an extension of my phone.  This watch does everything I need it to do, Alarm, stop watch  and time.  very durable and water proof.

I just wrote a review and I started dozing off while writing it and accidentally submitted it before I was finished, I'm Sorry. So I figured I'd write another with an added picture. I don't have any complaints except how it was packaged.  The watch came in a ziplock bag. I don't understand how a $50  watch does not have a box to be sold in.  Please see the picture attached. If this wasn't a gift for Christmas I wouldn't care much, but it is a gift. Maybe they don't normally have boxes for the watches, I don't know.

Very reflective screen, barely can read the time unless wrist is bent the right way.
