Timex TW2V24900 men&#39;s The Waterbury automatic silver steel watch is offered, in a polished solid stainless steel case. This model is made in dimensions of 40mm across and 13mm high. This watch has a unidirectional rotating silver tone accented black bezel and a textured push/pull main crown. Timex TW2V24900 is fitted with a silver stainless steel bracelet. Securing the bracelet is a fold over push button clasp made in stainless steel. &lt;p&gt;The dial is black and it features conservatively sized, index hour markers and white accents silver tone luminous pencil shaped skeleton hands for optimum readability. Timex TW2V24900 also features a day and date display functions. This piece has a mineral crystal for scratch resistance. Driving this fine watch is automatic mechanism with 21-jewels. The water resistance comes in at 100 meters. The Timex TW2V24900 watch is brand new in its original packaging and is backed by a 1 year manufacturer&#39;s limited warranty.

Hard to know where to begin with this superb addition to the Waterbury line. I'll work "backwards," starting with the bracelet, and say that it is probably the finest steel bracelet I've seen on a Timex, vintage or modern. The links are of a nice thickness, and have both polished and brushed/matte surfaces, creating a nice visual contrast. The ends are integral with the case by way of end-pieces between the lugs, creating a pleasing and luxurious look found more commonly in far more expensive watches. Finally, it is comfortable! The edges of the links that contact the wrist don't feel sharp, and the links are smoothly (and beautifully) "hinged" so that it flows like water on your wrist, without any bunching or pinching. I cannot emphasize what a fine bracelet this is. 

The 40 mm case has classic style and a fine brushed surface, with nicely machined edges. Dial is black with sunray texture, having beveled hour markers, each with luminous inserts. Hands are partially skeletonized, with luminous bits at the end. The green second hand has the logo of the old Waterbury Watch Company, also found on the dial and on the crown. The clicking unidirectional rotating dive bezel is black with minute markers, and has a bevel along its surface.

Movement is a 21 jewel automatic, visible through the display back. I've been wearing the watch continuously for a few days now, and it's been running very well. All in all I rate this watch Five-plus stars. I've had a number of new Timex models over the past few years, and this ranks among the finest!

Born & raised in Waterbury, I am proud to wear this watch that bears the namesake and history of my hometown.

The dial gracefully walks the line of sport and dress, making it a suitable watch for most any occasion. The attention to detail is comparable to watches many times its price. 

Four stars only because the stylish bracelet and deployant could really use a half size link or micro adjustment. The bracelet is the most stylish I've seen on a Timex and is beautifully integrated with the case and overall look of the watch, but unfortunately, I find that it shifts around and settles somewhat lopsidedly on my wrist size. Taking out another full link strangles my hand. 

This flaw does not discourage me from wearing it daily since it arrived and looking forward to getting much wear out of it. Thank you, Timex, for this homage to the Brass City!
