Super cute! Easy to get on & off which is great for me having recently broken my arm. Bought two of them. The other one is equally cute. Love the lizard design on the moving hands. Great that it has the Indiglo for the dark. Size is perfect. Very comfortable to wear.

Perfect first watch for 8 year old boy!  Looks exactly like picture and has performed well.

Great watch

The watch itself is excellent. Works well, very cute, and seems to hold up to typical abuse. The colors of the numbers matching the color of the respective hands make it easier for kids to learn how to read it. 

The only disadvantage is that the buckle is not a standard frame-and-prong one, but a slide one. It makes it easier for kids to adjust, but it is also very unstable, and they need to readjust it many times throughout the day. It also makes it easier for kids to take the watch off by themselves, but much harder to put back on.

Great watch, unfortunate buckle

I bought this watch for my 7 year old grandson who has Down Syndrome to help him learn to tell time.  But I think the numbers are actually too small, particularly the ones on the outer ring (that denote how many minutes in the hour).  I like the elastic band though.  I think it would be a good watch for a child who already knows how to tell time.

This is the third watch Salamander Watch I've purchased over time, but this one is disappointing.  The first two were Indiglo, this one is not, and the elastic strap keeps slipping so has to be retightened often.  The hardware does not seem to have enough teeth to keep the strap in place.

Quality has gone down.

This is used or a knockoff. Not happy at all with this purchase. The watch box was beat up and worn like it's been in someone's attic or junk chest. The watch band looks worn and dirty. The glass had a hard, clear blotch on it like someone tried to super glue the face-plate on and left some glue on the front. This was supposed to be a gift. Glad I bought it in enough time to get something else. I would've been too embarrassed giving them this yard-sale relic. …PS, this Timex doesn't have Indiglo. One star given because it does work, and one star that it's a cute size/adjustable for children… but that's all the stars this watch is getting from me.

Maybe a knockoff?
