I hade this identical watch when I was younger and 30 pounds lighter. Lasts along time and very attractive. Only thing I did not remember was “date” on front of watch being so small. With my elderly eyes I can not read it. Otherwise VERY SATISFIED!

I am embarrassed to admit how many of these watches I have purchased over the last 30 years, For one you really cannot go wrong with a Timex.
This particular one is easy to read, has a light up feature and has my favorite a leather watchband. Though it is getting pricier than I remember. Don't think any of these has ever quit working, but I have replaced many leather wrist bands. The only real criticism I have is that
I am unable to remove the back to replace the battery. At one time Walmart did it, but I don't think they do any more.

Great watch

I love this watch, had the same model for years.  Nice big numbers with a backlight. The price is fantastic,  it sells for nearly 2X this at brick and mortar stores!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a type of Timex watch my wife has had for about a decade, and it finally died.  She wanted the exact same thing, and I felt lucky to find it at the local Walmart Supercenter.  It was not clear from the website that this exact product was available at this Supercenter, the website kept trying to send me to a different Walmart which is close, but far less convenient.  I was pleased when the website finally allowed me to purchase this watch at the local center.

I bought this watch for my 92 yr old mother in law to replace a Timex whose leather band had broken. The face is  larger than that one but it actually worked better for her because the numbers are larger and easier to read. I didn't realize that it had a light up feature until I was putting it on her and pushed the button in and the face glowed a faint bluish color! Her full time aide said that it was perfect for her to see the time at night. Very pleased with the price and my purchase.

I wanted a plain watch that has numbers that are big enough for my aging eyes to see and that lights up so I can see the time in the dark. This watch meets my expectations and more. I am glad to see that a "no frills" item like this is available and at a reasonable price!

The watch keeps time, so far. The time is easy to read.  In the picture the calendar date also ray to read. In reality, even with a magnifying glass, I can't read date.  Disappointing.

That is why I gave it three stars, because it doesn't live up to what I was led to believe from the pictures.
With the health situation as it is , and my husband not well, I don't have the energy to return it snd look for another watch

I have consistently bought this watch every two years for years. This one is really bad and does not light the way it is supposed to. I want to take it back and see if there is another one that works better

Not that great this purchase

The watch never worked!! We thought the battery might be dead. Purchased a new battery but still never got it to work. The back of the watch got scratched slightly in the process of changing the battery so I couldn't return it. Very disappointed!!

I have purchased this watch style/model several times and have been completely happy with it and each one had served me for many years. It is easy to find replacement bands and batteries. 

Can no longer find this model in stores so ordered it online, easy and economical.  This one broke in the first 15-20 days I had it.
