I've did my research and read many reviews on these gyms before choosing this one and I am glad I did. This is big, bright and exactly what I wanted. My grandson loves the mirror and is mesmerized by the sounds and colors.

Im so not into bright multi-colored animal themed baby toys but i needed something to entertain my fussy baby. He wants me to hold him constantly & i was not feeling confident that this would do the trick. But, i was pleasantly surprised! He still prefers to be held but he loves this thing. Loaded with bells & whistles & very well built - Takes plenty of abuse from my toddler. Im so pleased with this purchase.

Perfect!

My little girl is 3 months and we just got this yesterday and I wish I would have had it from day one. She's a colicky baby and hates to be put down esp on her belly but this kept her entertained while she was on her back and tummy. I have tried so many things and spent so much money on stuff she didn't like but this is wonderful. It kept her interest and I would highly recommend it!

I love it!

I own a Fisher Price Rainforest Activity Gym and my baby didn't like it too much. The toys are too far out of his reach and he would get mad being unable to reach them and start crying in it. I saw "Award Winning" on this one and decided to give it a try. My son LOVED it! It's very easy to set up. It just pops right open when taken out of it's cover. It folds easily to be put away. The toys are low enough to play with and my baby was just hitting them and having a blast at 3 months old and now that he's 4.5 months he grabs them and holds on to them. There are a lot of toys to play with. They are colorful and fun. The animals on the play mat have raised parts that crinkle: the elephant ear, zebra tail, butterfly wing. The baby can pull on those during tummy time. You can take the toys off and put them on your car seat. You can put additional toys on this activity gym from other activity gyms. I use some of my toys from Rainforest activity gym in it. Another great feature is that it's easy to travel with because it folds. I kept the cover and I fold this activity gym and bring it with us when we travel. It also has some classical and nursery music. I don't use it much. I think it annoys the baby. It also is easy to put in the crib. Babies fall off beds when you expect it least so it's always good to know that the baby is safe while playing in the gym. I put it in the crib and it allows me to do some house chores while my son is occupied with his toys. I wish I discovered this product before I bought the other activity gym. It's definitely one of the best out there.

The best activity gym ever!

This product was a gift from my mother-in-law when my son was born. This is by far the best gift we recieved for him. By 1 month he was kicking at the toys, he would stare at the mirror before then. By 2 months he was grabbing for the toys, they are all more than just a stuffed animals, the monkey has a retractable arm, the bird's feathers has crinkle paper in it, the hanging garaffe jingles. There is a sqeeky in the mat, the garaffe's tail is sticking out of the mat, the elephant ear on the mat sticks out with crinkle paper so does the butterfly wings. The board that plays music and lights up comes out of the playmat so you can throw it in the washer. Also the music and light board has a protective sheet of plastic on it in case the mat gets wet. It survived many washings, never so much as getting a loose thread. If they roll over to far and roll onto one of the rails, the mat won't collaspe like the other one we had would. It folds easily for travel. You can add other toys and links with link-a-doos. Up untill he was around 8 months he would play with it every day, I have now passed it onto a friend who is expecting so it can get more use. It is well worth every penny!!!

Must Have Playmat

This is definitely something you want to purchase when preparing for a new baby. My daughter has loved this playmat from the time we brought her home from the hospital. Because newborns obviously don't play with toys yet, I think this is the best product to engage them and help develop early skills (like focusing on objects, tracking, identifying sounds, etc.) My daughter would get so excited to stare at her animals first thing each morning. The playmat itself is adorable with bright, cheerful colors. The music definitely gets old quickly (at least to an adult) , but that would happen with any product. I love that this comes apart quickly so I can throw it in the wash and that it is so portable. Definitely my (and my daughter's) favorite baby toy so far!

Essential for newborns!

I bought this for my daughter when another mat that i received at my shower wasn't really doing anything for her. She was around 2 and a half months old at the time and screamed when I laid her on it. I thought maybe the toys were too close to her face... I waited a few weeks and brought it bak out and WOW!!! She absolutely LOVES this mat. She will play and squeal for hours until she is hungry or tired from playing!! She has started rolling now and the different activities on the mat base are helpful to initiate her quasi crawling :-) The lights do come out in order to wash however, my daughter spits up a good bit and I've had to wash quite a few times and the colors aren't as bright but that's to be expected I guess. At first I was relunctant to pay this much for a mat, but I would do it again!!! Highly recommend

Love It!!!

I am a big comparision shopper. After reading multiple reviews on various websites, I decided on the Tiny Love Gymini for my 2 month old.

The Tiny Love Gymini was VERY easy to set up. It just popped right open, and everything was ready to go.

I thought the price was a little high for an activity mat, but I also have the Fisher Price Rainforest Mat and I would not recommend it. There's not a lot for the baby to do with the RainForest Mat, and the 2 toys are too high for babies who can not reach up and swat/grab things. The Tiny Love Gymini's toys are all at a great height for an infant.

The switch that controls the music seems fairly cheap. I haven't had any problems so far. But a big bonus is that it is removable, so you can wash the mat.

Overall I'd give this mat a great rating. I decided on this mat over the Baby Einstein mat (the one w/ the star) because it received multiple children's toys awards.

Tiny Love Gymini

I bought this b/c it had very little hard surfaces where my baby would bump his head on. The only hard surface would be the music base and lights, but the base/lights could be removed as well. The music is nice to listen to also. The Mozart music option plays longer and can be reactivated by touch. The mat is machine washable which is a must for me.

toys are removable

I believe mine says 0-10 months (not 0-18) but it's very nice. Lots of little toys. It plays classical or nursery rhymes & the flowers light up. It folds up easily. The music portion comes out so you can clean it up easily.

Fun & musical

I purchased this product for my 5 month old after reading the reviews Since day 1 the music and lights componet has not worked i called the company. They said they would replace it.. im still waiting for a replacement. I went onto the website and requested the replacement- I heard nothing back from the company. Now we are playing phone tag!!! Its going to be Feb. and still the item is useless since christmas!
