Super fun game to play. One of the things I like best is that the game can be played solo. I get creative and use multiple boards at the same time to challenge myself to keep beating my previous high score. Check out youtube videos to see the game being played. The quality of the wooden buildings and cards is excellent.

We bought Tiny Towns after playing AEG's Guild of Merchant Explorers.  Guild of M.E. is fantastic and my four stars here may be low based on comparison to the first game we got from AEG.  Tiny Town has a lot of potential and I have heard it fulfills that potential in later expansions.  On its own, the game is a puzzle the players around you might help or hurt your chances to complete.  The fun you have with the game will be impacted by the players you play with.  If you want a relaxed experience, you'll want like-minded players who don't try and sabotage others.  On the other hand, the game can be quite competitive where your opponent's call of a single resource can turn devastating.  There's a lot of replayability and flexibility in how you can play.
