Ease Of Use

Ease Of Setup

Ease Of Cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before you look further into this sprayer, make sure that it fits the job ahead of you, this is not the right sprayer for shooting a hobby project in the garage. However, if you are looking for fast, accurate coverage and relatively easy to follow instructions, this is totally the sprayer for you. The Control Max 1500 was my first step into the larger HEA stand sprayers. As such, there was a bit of a learning curve when it comes to setup and ultimately cleaning the sprayer. Once I had it fired up it was super easy to use and the results speak for themselves. I was able to achieve complete and even coverage in minutes. With five levels of pressure it was able to handle any type of paint I put through it. Make sure that you set aside a bit of time for cleanup of the sprayer at the end. This isn't a quick breakdown plastic sprayer, you will need to follow the guide and cycle cleaner and flush appropriately, but it is well worth it in the end!

Right tool for the right job!

wagnerspraytech.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An absolute breeze to paint just about any surface that you can think of. I personally chose this unit to resurface the doors in my house as they are a few years old and cleaning just wasn't an option. The titan control max 1500 did an outstanding job at making what would have been hours worth of work turn into about 15 minutes per coat. I applied two coats of paint to about half the doors in my house (outside of course) in less than an hour total after I was all set up. I can really see why they use these things when they build new houses! The spray was very fine and very even, I did not have any problems whatsoever.

Like a cheat code but for painting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing unit! Made painting a large house a breeze! No mixing and draws right from a paint can/bucket was great. I think anyone would be happy to own the Control Max 1500. I wish I had more things to paint. It's winter here now, so maybe some siding or fence painting in Spring! Can I actually be looking forward to it?
You will not be disappointed.

I love this tool! Makes any job a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a homeowner who occasionally paints cabinets and furniture. I have used an hvlp sprayer powered by an air compressor as well as the Wagner flexio with good success. I was interested in trying out an airless sprayer for these kinds of projects as the others have quite a bit of over spray and I've seen airless sprayers used for cabinets by professionals.

The Titan Control Max 1500 appears well built. It has a lot of plastic parts which isn't a problem for me being an occasional user but I could see professionals wanting parts to be metal for durability. The spray gun and hose are top quality and the compartment on top is a nice touch for storing tips. I do wish that there was a way to stow the hose and gun on the unit so that everything can be easily kept together when stored or transported. It also could use some kind of retention device on the base to hold it securely onto the top of a paint bucket.

The instructions for usage were very helpful for a first time airless sprayer user. I ran Bullseye 123 latex primer through it to paint a console table frame. One disappointment with the airless sprayer was the inability to adjust the spray width. The included tip had a very wide pattern and was way too large for my project. I can see this being a good thing for walls, fence, etc where you have a lot of area to cover. Aside from the pattern width, the paint job turned out very nice. It only took about 10 minutes total to do two coats.

Cleaning was a bit of a pain. I don't think it's specific to this model but more an issue with airless sprayers in general. I think clean up took about 30 minutes. It wasn't very difficult but there was a lot of steps and it involves multiple buckets of water.

In general, its a solid entry level airless sprayer. I'm really happy with the quality. It's built nice and light weight. It does seem to lean to the homeowner/light use end of the spectrum which is fine for my use. It's definitely for large projects where you're going to be painting multiple walls or fencing. Don't expect for it to be effective at painting furniture or cabinets. It might work in a pinch, but it's just not a detail sprayer.

Solid homeowner-level sprayer for large project

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my house as a fixer upper and have slowly been improving and refreshing it. I used the control max 1500 to paint my basement walls super quick. Setup was a little confusing at first but running it was very easy. The paint is smooth and the coverage is amazing. I did two coats and called it quits. My walls went from a gross faded yellow to a bright white. Cleanup was pretty easy too. I think I got it completely cleaned out but I'm never quite sure if I got all the paint removed. Overall I love it and am waiting until the summer when I plan to paint the whole house exterior. Wish me luck.

Sprayers rule, rollers drool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use and very easy to clean. Cuts down on time painting, just have to get used to the spray gun. You can paint a room fast and use less paint. What's nice is just open can of paint, mix, and put suction tube in can and start painting. Yes, you have to set the sprayer up, but it's easy. I've always wanted one of these and now I have one, I will never use a roller again. Now with this, I can change a room color or house color, anytime I want and it will be easy. I have a lot of rooms I need to paint and have no excuses now. Thanks Wagner for making life easier to paint, keep up the good work.

Makes life a lot easier to paint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Control Max 1500 was super easy to set up right out of the box, very sturdy and the pick up tube and filter that you locate in the paint is nice and big so it doesn't get backed up or clogged up which is really great. The Machine sprays really nice and even on all surfaces that I have put it to the test on, which is my basement walls as well as ceiling. Clean up was easy and simple which was great. Overall this machine is great and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a airless paint sprayer for any type of home project as you can use it with a gallon bucket or 5 gallon bucket of paint and it will spray everything you point it at nice and even.

Great Sprayer, Easy set up & clean up, very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This airless sprayer is perfect for the at-home DIY consumer and fits just below a commercial HEA unit. The 25' length of hose is plenty and when combined with a suction pump hose built for 1-5 gal. of paint the user can make quick work of modest home siding, decking and more. The spray tip creates 50% less overspray than forced air units. I own and use Wagner Flexio and Craft series paint sprayers and when comparing the material flow with spray pattern the HEA spray tip is at the top. The unit seems durable and while having a low profile in terms of bulkiness it would be an advantage to have wheels to roll the unit as it isn't exactly light weight. However, the length of hose from unit to nozzle mitigates a need to move the unit much while working in most environments. Possibly an add-on cart for the unit that not only has wheels but room for a paint tub or 5 gal bucket would be a nice optional future upgrade. Clean up is pretty straight forward and with a great 2 year warranty the longevity of the unit should be excellent. I am looking forward to using this unit to paint a 1 story home when the weather warms up this spring among a multitude of paint projects large and small.

Consistent Spray Pattern. Durable. Good Warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally use a hand held sprayer with a small paint cup. I wanted this because so on large jobs I didnt have to keep refilling the paint cup. Very easy to assemble and use. I love that I can spray right out of the can. The spray gun is sturdy and easy to hold. Paint goes on smooth without splatter.
The hose is not very flexible so it is kind of a pain but I wasn't going up and down a ladder so it worked out. The power cord needs to be longer so just remember you will need extension cord on large projects. Clean up is very quick and easy. I hate cleaning rollers so this was so much better. Overall, I would recommend this sprayer. I can't wait to use on my deck in the spring . I generally brush on the deck and this will make the job so much faster and clean up will be a lot easier.

Easy To Use. Will get the Job done Quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spray unit worked very well and sprayed a great finish. Although the unit required an extensive prime process, the finish was great. The clean up was very easy and I found using paint directly from the can made cleanup even easier!

This unit was Great!
