I live in Virginia.  Since an addition was put on the crawl space only has one vent to the outside.  It would often smell musty.  With the fan it never smells musty any more.   Installation was not bad (glad I got the one with the attached power cord)!!!
Only Issue was with the house as I had to drill the cinder block to get the fan to line up with the vent.  I'm very glad I got this fan!!

Crawl Space smells so much better!!
