I really enjoy my rice cooker. I am a Senior and I usually cook my rice for only one serving. Due to cooking for one person only, I usually add either too much water or not enough, resulting in my cooked rice being too soggy (too much water) or hard and not completely cooked.(not enough water).  Since this Toastmaster rice cooker comes wth the tools I need, i.e. a measuring cup for the rice, and measuring lines inside the rice cooker pot, it enhances the rice to be cooked perfectly. The first time I used my new rice cooker, I was extremely pleased with the results as my rice came out soft and fluffy.

HOW TO GET PERFECT RICE USING THE TOASTMASTER RICE

We are using same Rice Cooker from long time to cook rice / meat. This is my 2nd one, 1st one still in good condition.

The rice keeps sticking to the bottom of the pan, we have use it 6 times by now. We did not had that problem with past rice cookers

A rice cooker is supposed to be non-stick — usually Teflon-coated. But after the very first use, I noticed that the rice stuck to the bottom and was hard to remove.

The inside wall is not nonstick material, so I have to struggle to clean the rice every time; what's worse, during cooking, the steam with rice mucus will overflow and squirt everywhere!

Cheap but terrible experience

I am disappointed with this rice cooker. I mainly use it for quinoa, and it sticks badly to the bottom every time. Even after lightly oiling the pot, a lot of the quinoa still sticks and becomes difficult to remove. Cleaning takes too much time because I have to soak the pot before washing it properly. Based on my experience, the non-stick performance is poor and the cooker is not convenient for regular use.

This is not a ten cup rice cooker, i can cook hardly 6 cup comfortably,  if I want to cook more, the water drop out, rice got very soft. Sometimes dried beneath.

Not for 10 cup rice.

It was not that much bad, I cooked rice twice, and it was cooked good. However the problem was that the rice stick at the pot because of the low quality of the pot. So I return it and bought another one which has none-stick pot.
