I don't really know how good it is because it's a gift for someone.

Price is good; I still can't smell fresh coffee while percolating. I keep an eye on it over a gas burner; trying to figure out how long to percolate. Fill w/water to pouring holes; add 6 - 8 Tbls coffee; done; heat a cup in a.m.; still taste fresh.

i am happy with my recent acquisition.. the only little problem was the packaging, the recipient was kind of lose in the box, lacking securing material; result was a bump on the cylinder of the pot... but not important enough to cause malfunction of the percolator... however

The percolator

This is pure junk the material is thin and it feels like it's going to bend just taking the lid off.could not use it with or without a filter.tried many different coffee grinds it still filled up with grounds.it's a waste of money.

Pure junk

Don't waste your money on something that isn't worth it. It arrived with the lid folded, because the material is aluminum. The transparent button came unglued from the cover. In other words, tremendous crap.

Tremendous crap

This was a complete was of money. It's  incredibly thin aluminum.  The lid was bent and the on the first use, the hot water never reaches the coffee in the basket so, it doesn't work. The clear knob came off the lid during use and the inside is completely stained.

Ummm.....I need a refund.
