I also ordered a slow close toilet seat. However it did not accommodate the hard wear that came with the toilet riser. I had to use my existing wood toilet seat. The holes on the slow close seat were too small. I may try drilling the holes wider at a later time. It would be nice to make the hard wear bolts smaller.

Thank you I can now rise with ease on my knees.

walmart.com

Pros - you can install the original seat and lid on top of it. The opening is as large as the original seat and fits an elongated toilet perfectly. Easy to install as long as your original bolts are not rusted. A good height, the typical 3.5” elevation.

Fits well and easy to install

Wonderful product, made a big difference enabling quicker seating so far fewer accidents and added bonus of ease getting off toilet. Used zip ties for easier installation suggested by another user.perfect

Perfect toilet solution.

We ordered 2 and they are great. Had just moved to a townhouse where the toilets were for preschoolers. hahahaha These installed easily and lifted our toilets up to normal height. Thank you.

I would recommend this product to anyone.

jet.com

It works great very sturdy would definitely recommend its 3 1/2 inches high. A bit high for a shorter person but it is a great quality product. About 19in long x 14in wide outer measurements.

Great quality product definitely recommend

In theory, it should work. Just remove your toilet seat, place the riser on the toilet, place your toilet seat on top of the riser, and use the long bolts provided to secure it all. Seems easy, right? it would be, except that the bolts provided are far too big to fit in the bolt holes of the toilet seat. and that is providing your toilet bolts are open, and not sealed in its own plastic cover. Most toilet seats are manufactured with the bolts covered with plastic tabs and are very small.
Add to that the fact that I cannot install this item unless I buy a new toilet seat, assuming i can find one that will work, and I cannot return the riser due to WalMart policy. So, I still have a very short toilet, my spouse is coming home from the hospital in 2 days, and I am effectively scr3wed.

It will not work with your toilet seat.

I bought a toilet seat riser for my disabled mother-in-law and it was nice that it came so quickly but she can't use it because all of the parts were not in the box that were supposed to be with it it's missing the bolts and nuts and washers that attach it to the toilet so she can't even use it and I can't return it because of your policies if somebody could please send the rest of my order so that I could use the product that I bought that would be great

the product I bought is missing parts

Description say fits standard round and elongated toilets. Does not work for elongated . Once the slide in wedge is put in I can't get screws tightened enough to hold riser in place. Slides side to side where I'm worried about falling off.

NOT for elongated toilet bowls

This made my toilet seat way too high. I'm 5'8 and I could hardly touch the floor. Very hard to even get on it. Can't return it so I'm out the money. There needs to be more info such as it only works on smaller toilets, etc.

Don't waste your money

The bolts are very loose in the commode such that a tight fit can not be made. With force insufficient to make the seat tight, the bolts slide out of the attachment tabs. The bolt attachment should be designed for a more universal fit with commodes. The seat does not stay attached to this Kohler commode.

Poor attachment hardware

toilet seat riser for elongated size bowl raised toilet seat elevates existing elongated toilet seat by 3 inches (height), 14" overall width and 19" depth; white molded plastic ring installed on a toilet with lid open, shows included 6" bolts and wing-nuts for installation, often used as a temporary platform for portable commode seats.
