The end war storyline is not the best part of the game. Set in a future WWIII oil crisis you must fight other nations for the battle of oil. That is basicly the story. In story mode you are usually told to attack of deffend a certain place and you just do it.
This is the biggest downfall for the game in my oppinion but over all this game is still great I would rank the game overall arround a 9.4

Loved It!!!!!!!!

Okay, so anyone who buys this game expecting it to be in line with other Tom Clancy games will be very disappointed. With that being said though this game is based on an excellent concept. For years you could only play quality 3rd person games on the PC. Ubisoft though has abolished this plague by creating an excellent introductory 3rd person game. The voice recognition is extremely accurate and response is wonderful. You are able to change your point of view throughout game play which allows for a very realistic 1st person perspective. The game does have a pitfall however. The types of units is vairly limited, but I am sure this will improve with new games in the future. All in all, if you are a disgruntled gamer who is looking for a new style of warfare this is the game for you. On a side note Xbox Live for this game is much better than the campaign.

Excellent concept

This game isn't what I thought it would be. It is actually quite easy to win each level which doesn't make it all that fun. The WMD mode of the game is really dumb. You can be losing, issue the WMD command and instantly you win. I have had my "troops" all at one uplink site. And moving them all to a new location when suddenly the opponent issues the WMD and bam game over. I lose.

Voice commands are really nice. I really like how that is part of the game.

They needed to incorporate this with you actually doing something. This isn't at all like games like Command and Conquer.

The upgrading of uplink sites are also very odd. You issue the upgrade command. It does its thing and you think it is done when in face it didn't do anything. So then you issue the command again and finally the building is upgraded.

I like the concept of the game but I didn't think the game play was all that great.

I think some more beta testing was needed on this game and the story line doesn't even matter to the game. Matter in fact the story line is pretty much useless in this game. You basically do the same thing over and over.

This was the biggest waste of $60. I thought this game would be cool because you could use the headset to command your troops however, that is all you do. You don't actually do anything yourself throughout the game but issue commands....BORING!!!!!!! Don't waste your money.
