The Tommee Tippee Groclock sleep trainer uses colors and pictures to help children who are too young to read an ordinary clock, to understand when it’s time to sleep and when it’s time to spring out of bed and play! Simply set the time you would like your child to wake up in the morning and this sleep trainer clock will show the passing of time using colors and symbols. When it’s time to sleep, the blue clock face features a sleepy Ollie the Owl surrounded by hearts and stars. Good choice of clock

We've had this clock for a few days now and so far has been working as intended. My son wait for the screen to change and then he gets up.

Dose the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started using this with my 2yo who was getting confused on day/night with time changes. It's simple enough for her to understand to lay in bed until "the sun comes up" and if its stars are still out to stay tucked in. It's still a work in progress, but this definately helps her have a visual! It has a soft glow that doesn't seem to bother her either. Would recommend for your littles who are able to get in and out of bed on their own!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been STRUGGLING to get my toddler out of our bed and into her own for quite sometime now, so when I saw this I jumped on it! It has been an awesome addition to our nighttime and naptime routine and makes her feel more independent too! And that helps mommy and daddy sleep better, Happy baby equals Happy Mommy! I will say that the light can be a but bright at times but I have learned to kind if adjust that by turning it by a certain angle, but so far so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted this because my two and three year old consistently wake up around 6 or so and wake all through the night. I was hoping a clock like this would keep them in bed and until a more decent time. It is easily programmed and the instructions are simple. Can be used for nap times even which is pretty great. My kids think it is a fun and love the little sun and star design. I do think in time, when they fully understand not getting up when the star is on the clock or while it is blue, that it will work perfectly. I think it is a cute and great little children's clock.

Cute and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute little toddler clock that allows my 2 year old to know when it is bed time by showing a blue star clock face or when it is okay to be up with a yellow light up sun. I wish it could be completely dimmed at night time because she doesnt like the light it puts off. Very cute concept and easy to use

The screen came a little broken (part of it is blue paler than the rest)

Does the job well, easy to use

Kid likes "putting the owl to sleep" and usually responds well to the light in the morning.  He does not like the blue light, so we appreciate being able to turn it off completely at night.
I would not have kept it, however, if he hadn't liked the owl, as, although the concept is good, the interface and functionality of the item is ridiculous.  It is not intuitive to set, requires manual activation at night (which has become a routine, but is silly that that has to be the case), has no way of delaying the alarm without resetting the time (a tedious process), and requires a constant plug in to the wall but does not provide a wall adapter.  Honestly, in hindsight, I'd probably just buy a timer for the wall outlet and a nightlight and it would provide the same functionality...but the kid is used to the owl now.  
My final thought is this: why are we putting a nocturnal animal to sleep at night and waking him up in the morning??
