My 3-year-old nephew has been really into The Lion King lately, so I picked up this Tonie figurine for him. The story and songs keep him entertained for the full 30 minutes, and he loves being able to just place Simba on the Toniebox himself to start it up. I will say that like other reviewers mentioned, the singing and music aren't the original movie cast which was a bit disappointing at first, but honestly he doesn't seem to care at all - he still gets excited every time "Hakuna Matata" comes on. The figurine itself feels sturdy and the sound quality through the Toniebox is really good, so no complaints there. It's become part of his regular bedtime routine, and I appreciate that it tells the story in a way that's appropriate for his age while still hitting those important themes about family and responsibility. Learning how to use it wasn't an issue since he already owns other tonies.

My kids absolutely adore their Toniebox (ages 4, 5, 8 %26 11) so for each birthday and at Christmas/holidays we have been adding to their collection. The Lion King has been at the top of their list and so this is the most recent one we added. The songs an story are wonderful, of course, though it's worth noting that this one has audio from the new live action version, not the older animated one, and while the words are exactly the same, the voices are a bit different. This one is great for family sing alongs, or quiet story times. We love the Tonies overall for engaging, screen free media that the kids can control themselves, and love the variety of old favorites, like the Lion King, and audiobook style options.

My 2 year old grandaughter easily changes these tonies out and knows the songs she wants to hear.  The Lion King Circle of Life in particular is her favorites and the sound is very clear. She turns it up pretty loud so she can hear it in the kitchen while helping mom cook.

We absolutely love the Tonies Disney The Lion King Audio Play Figurine! From the moment we put it on the Toniebox, it instantly grabbed our child's attention. The storytelling is engaging, the sound quality is crystal clear, and it does an amazing job bringing the classic story to life in a way that's perfect for little ones.

The songs are a huge hit—especially the familiar favorites from The Lion King. It's been on repeat in our house, and honestly, we don't even mind because it's so well done. It's the perfect mix of narration and music, keeping kids entertained while also encouraging imagination.

The figurine itself is adorable and very well made, just like all Tonies products. It's durable, easy for kids to use on their own, and makes a great addition to any Tonie collection.

If your child loves The Lion King, this is a must-have. Highly recommend—definitely one of our favorite Tonies so far!

We absolutely love the The Lion King Tonie!

We love tonies but the Lion King one is disappointing. Not the real music and for some reason is SO QUIET. Especially “I just can't wait to be king” we can barely hear it. All the volume settings are at 100 ( on the app and on the box). My daughter still loves it though

My 2.5 year old loves the songs on this, but the volume is RIDICULOUSLY low. Even on the highest volume, you can hardly hear "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" which is his favorite song. Really really disappointed in the volume/lack thereof. I kept it because he still loves listening to it, but was very tempted to return. It is SO quiet.

Not the original voices

The voices in both the songs and the story are not the same as the movie. Noticeable right away. Pretty disappointing. The story just doesn't sound right when it's other characters. Doesn't seem Disney at all.
