The character is smaller than I expected, but it is good quality construction.  I was surprised, there was a base required to get the character to talk. Walmart staff were fabulous in helping me to find one of these characters. They were TOS in most locations.

These are not original singers. Definitely not Moana singing, some second rate singer.

Another Disney tonie with inferior versions of the songs you know and love! It's a shame because the Moana soundtrack is awesome and the narrative portions of the tonie are great. The substitute vocalists on this one are especially glaring: Auliʻi Cravalho's voice is so good that the drop off is impossible, while all of the male vocal performances sound like the same guy. I have to assume that it's a matter of tonies not wanting to pay Disney the full rate for the original recordings since the packaging doesn't make it clear that you're effectively accepting a substandard experience when you buy it. It's impossible for me to believe that tonies isn't knowingly aware that they're doing this. What a shame.
