A $25 bottle was just enough to do 2 very grungy pontoons on a 20 foot vessel, and it is not the thickness of the application but the uniformity that is important for the cleaning. Now my review. First, let me say that I have been washing the algae-stained sides of a mobile home for many years, I have learned to live with the product's LIE (retracted in small print at the bottom) that it will clean vinyl siding without rubbing wahaha. So when the aluminum pontoon cleaning product sang the same old song, I got my brushes ready. I transferred the liquid, as advised, to a garden sprayer and thinly but uniformly coated each square inch of the pontoons, waited a few minutes without letting it dry out, turned on the hose sprayer, and, gasp, IT WORKED! Years of accumulated oxidation and brown slime slid off cleanlyy under a regular hosepipe sprayer flat pattern. What a bargain to have the pontoons on this old 90s Sunliner looking wonderful . I hope it works as well for you.

The stuff worked amazing I was surprised at how good it actually worked. One suggestion is stay upwind if possible.
