Purchased this for a Top Gear fan in my family. I did not realize this was not authentic  BBC. It is recorded off of the tv/streaming service on DVDs. Now, while I'm still happy to have the set, it does have problems. DVDs that won't work, episodes only partially recorded and cut off by other episodes, and missing episodes because discs are doubled. This is disappointing especially since it was a gift. But decent enough.
