I cannot tell you how many times I've left my pruners out in the garden or have even put them into my gardening trash!  I knew this would help me keep track of them and so far it has. It's great! I love it.

Although this product is fine, be sure this is EXACTLY what you need.
The scabbard was suggested as an add-on product for a pair of clippers that I ordered for my husband, but the clippers didn't fit well. When I tried to return the product, I learned:
1) that I would be responsible for paying the shipping cost AND
2) that the BIC warehouse would charge me a 15% restocking fee
Neither of these facts are mentioned in their online return policy (which I checked before placing the order). Now I am stuck with a useless product.
