[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn't read any instructions for this but figured out pretty quickly to push the hose in a little further if it kept popping out. I have 7 cheap plastic trash cans I use for leaf collection. Drilled a few holes in the bottom of the cans. No more problems with hose or cover coming off. Been using it for years. Only problem is I broke the ear off the hose that attaches it to the blower can't seem to find just the replacement hose.

I had a problem with the hose not staying attached to the canvas cover attachment. It became disconnected about 5 times in the short period of time I used this apparatus. The container I was using continually tipped over. It became more of a job making sure I did not stretch the hose too far trying to keep the container upright. I found that the hose would become disconnected very easily. If there was a way to make this connection more stationary it would be better.

This product has the potential to be a quality one.

I purchased this because the large leaf collection bag I used with my Super blower vac was incompatible with the Ultra blower vac. 
The fabric cover that fastens to the top of a garbage can is difficult to fasten snugly. When the blower vac is on high, the cover comes off the top of the garbage can. It can work, but it usually requires a couple of attempts to get the drawstring pulled tight enough to prevent a blow out. Then you have to repeat the process after the garbage can is emptied.
The hose between the blower vac and the cover is held into the garbage can cover by a flimsy elastic ring. When the blower vac is on high, the hose pops out of the cover. Fortunately, the use of a couple of zip ties (not provided) can hold the hose in place.
The last time I used this, I found it was quicker to use the bag included with the blower vac and empty it into the garbage can than it was to use this attachment.

Needs some design improvements

I purchased this at the same time I purchased the bin.  I have used this 3 times and EVERYTIME I use it, either the hose blows out of the cover OR the cover blows off the bin.I wish they would replace mine as I like the leaf collector but when using this with the Toro bin, the bin leans over due to the weight of this collector.  Someone did not do a Quality Control check very well

FALLS APART

The hose blows off and the fabric blows off the container. I had to put a cable tie on the hose to keep it from blowing out. The design with the small weak plastic cord latch is grossly inadequate!!!

Poor design

As mentioned above, impossible to keep attached to collection device. I even purchased the Toro collection bag which has small holes in it's bottom which I thought would allow airflow and keep from continually blowing the hose off the receptacle. Even used 3-4 plastic clamps along with the draw string. Need redesign on bag attachment
