Bought this for my living room because it's all windows and the central air can't keep up. Have only had it for a few weeks but I run it often and, so far, it does well at keeping the room cool. 
Pros: Was easy to assemble, not too heavy, multiple functionalities, comes with a remote (and batteries), easily keeps my small living room cool during early Summer/late Spring.
Cons: It is loud! but worth it.

Good Purchase For The Price

For the price, it is a great product. Quality, attention to detail. Confident after a month. It starts at low temperature. Convenient to cool a room quickly. At 7 degrees outside it starts. It can stop on its own and leave at the desired temperature. I regret the lack of a pdf file for the guide. There's a piece of paper in the box. Its consumption is stable. It does not need a peak of watts at startup. Slightly rusty but it is the sound of the wind that circulates in the ducts rather compact. Normal. I don't regret my purchase.

Works very well and it is much quieter than some other window air conditioners we have owned. It is easily cooling down quickly and keeping our southern exposure room comfortable.

Very happy with purchases

This air conditioner is attractive looking, easy to set up and use, and cools my apartment just right. It comes with the brackets to install in your window and a remote control so its perfect for during the night so if you wake up and its too cold you can just click a button and not wake yourswlf more by getting up.

Like you can set a temperature but it's not very cold I expected it to be colder then a 5000 btu

Not as cold as I expected

Tosot 6,000 BTU Air Condition Review. --This is a cheaper Air Conditioner, is it good? Well, that depends on your expectations. It cools a small to moderate sized bedroom down decently well, which mine is moderate sized. This AC is pretty small, despite the claim of 6000btu. It's closer to a 5000btu sized AC. Which means the internal fan is smaller as well. I installed the unit in a horizontal sliding window. Covering the top with wood (thicker cardboard works as well), closing the window, and filling the gaps with spare wash cloth, hand towels, and foam. It does come with a window kit for Vertical sliding windows. --The noise generated by this AC is reasonable, and consistent. There's 3 Fan speeds, with the option for it to Auto change speeds. Noise tolerance is subjective, it's definitely not "silent". However, those who sleep with fans already, should be fine with the sound this unit makes. The compressor kicking on is quieter as well, compared to others I've used. Cooling efficiency is good, once the temp reaches desired levels, especially when assisted by fans. Which if used for a living room, fan assistance is recommended. It does take longer to reach those lower temps from an initial hot room, due to how small it is. A remote with batteries is included. There's a slight delay when clicking the button on the remote. Overall, a surprisingly good AC for those on a tight budget, or desiring an extra for a bedroom. How long it'll last remains to be seen. I also own an 8,000btu LG Window AC for the main living area. --- READ HERE: You can change Fahrenheit to Celcius on the Remote by pressing Mode & - icon at the same time. To change F to C on the AC itself, hold the UP & DOWN arrow for FIVE seconds.

LOOK HERE, LOOK LISTEN - Tosot 6000btu AC Review

After about 2 weeks the AC unit started to make a pinging noise which is apparently normal (read in the manuel) but super frustrating as it is very loud.

You get what you pay for
