Great features in a toaster

I  have arthritis in my hands and  neuropathy ! Movements like putting  toast in the machine is painful ! No more pulling down on a  lever! All that's required is a slight push of tthe button and perfect  toast ,every time . Easy to use right out the box , easy to adjust -push a button  for light or dark roast! Perfection every time I toast .I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Easy to use

I must admit I was attracted by the novelty of a toaster free from the lever protruding from one end. Also the precision of the LED display was tempting. I did read reviews and like most things they seemed to be mixed, either great praise or pure disappointment. I fall on the praise end of the spectrum. Also the features are very useful and unique. I do not use the Bagel setting but have used the defrost and reheat features often and have found them to work as advertised. I recommend this as it seems to work well and is well built.

Many Features

This is probably the best toaster I've ever purchased.  The big blue screen is easy to read.  The fact that I can toast bagels just on one side is clever.  But to be able to defrost or reheat takes this toaster to a new level.  I especially like how quiet it is when the toasting if finished.  No popping up!  Just a gentle beep and it slowing comes up.  So sophisticated! Plus, it looks great with all my stainless steel appliances.  And it is not a 'retro' design.  Just modern, clean lines without being severe. Excellent looking and best multi-functioning toaster I've ever owned.

Cutting Edge Design, visually and mechanically

We are overall, very pleased with our toaster.  It took awhile to figure out the right toasting level but we have settled on "6" as our go to.  We like its design but it has a very loud beep when the toast is ready.  It's our only complaint but it really is annoying.  Still we would buy this toaster again.  It seems to be pretty well made and we love the touchless toastig.

Really very disappointed with my purchase, 8 times out of 10 the slices of bread get stuck at the moment when the mechanism goes up the roasts. The roasts all come out crushed and force the mechanism which, over time, will surely get damaged. I will start the return procedure to be refunded. Those who designed this toaster probably never used it.

Very bad purchase

Returned first one, because even after two cycles @ 6 (the highest setting on first model), toast from all kinds of bread was still hardly golden. Replacement came and noticed it had a high setting of 7. Bread still takes at least two cycles at 7 to approach golden brown. Photos show ciabatta at 1 cycle and 2 cycles. Would love to get toast darker.

Slow Toast . . .

This toaster is complete junk.  The first one I got burned the toast on one side and uneven
 on the other.   Cuisinart replaced it and the 2nd one did the same thing.

This is the second toaster I recieved and it still crushes the bread when it raises up when done toasting. When the toast is released from the holder, the toast shifts and leans to side and catches on the molding on the side top of the toaster as it reaches the top and crushes the top of the toast.  You have to manually with a plastic knife prevent the toast from hitting the side molding as it rises. A 1920's toaster would be better than this.
