Townew T1S is a trash can that does all the dirty work for you with a touch of a button. Self-Sealing, Self-Changing Technology. In one touch, the built in thermoplastic sealing technology automatically seal the bag inside. Once the trash bag is taken out, a fresh new bag is automatically replaced. Keep your hands germ-free. Latest sensor technology will detect movement and approaching objects from the distance of up to 35 cm and pop the lid up automatically. It detects when the trash can is too full, lifting the whole top compartment so it can seal the bag, guaranteeing you no spillage. All you have to do is grab the bag and toss it away. The Townew T1S has an anti-slip and tilt base, engineered to avoid the trash can from slipping or falling over and spill all that smelly garbage juice on your floor.

I bought one 4 years ago from Amazon 
I use it for our food scraps because I hated having to tie up the bags
This beauty does it all for us
We put another plastic bag underneath and some paper towel to absorb moisture from food scraps and into the green bin it all goes

Well worth it

I was hesitant to spend so much on a garbage can but I am so glad I did for the kitchen.  Keeps my hands clean and the container is so well designed it's essentially effortless to keep clean.

Touchless kitchen trash can

I backed Townew on Kickstarter so have had one for about 5 years. I wanted a second one and the price through Walmart was hard to beat. It's a great hands-off garbage can.

Lid keeps opening and closing. Had to return. We had the same version before and it didn't do this. Not sure why. As well, they really shortened the recharge cable from 6 feet with a plug to 3 1/2 feet USB only. Very poor. Needed to move trash bin to reach socket. Not good.
