I love checking up on my 7 month old kitten when I'm not home. The light and chime are fun as well. Love the interface on the app. I hope it lasts a long time. Seems like it will. All pieces are sturdy and well made. Love that it came with a collar.

I really like this product. It lets me know where my cat is and history of where she goes. I do wish the signal strength from the gps was better in rural areas. Overall a good product and worth the money.

Tractive Tracker for Cats

i wouldve  given it 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact that once the battery goes dead your cut off from your pet. Thats not the fault of the company. Its, a topic for another conversation about a different company. Mine likes to escape for 2 days or so. There is a battery saving mode thats great. Actually, everythig about this is great. Even the $100  year subscription. You can literally track your pet down and find them in the places you previously wouldve never found them. 
My male tomcat has given up hiding from me. .......if i could just keep up with him when he makes me chase him around and around the house forbover and hour. (the gps recorded and mapped the entire scenario wich makes for a good funny story anytime.) gave it a 4 but an invisible 5

It was very heavy, too heavy to put on a cats collar

If your Tractive experience is anything like mine, your cat will lose its collar in the woods and the battery will quickly die before you find it. The "LIVE" tracking mode can kill the battery within minutes unless it's fully charged!

This product needs some work

It doesn't hold a charge for long
Have to charge at least two times in a week

Charger

I ordered 2 of these with the assumption (from their app and their website) I could pay for the subscription monthly. However when attempting to add 1 collar for the first time it was forcing me to pay yearly, 2, 3 or 5 year with 0 options to pay monthly. This isn't feasible for us low income families and need the monthly charges instead of having to pay over $100 up front. I can't say anything about the trackers outside of beware of the subscriptions if your low income. Wish they did monthly like they advertise

BEWARE!

I tried getting my money back in the app and it won't let me I'm hoping that by returning this item ima get a refund from Walmart and Tractive app 150$ for a year is not okay and for it to not even work and stay on my cat

You have to buy the 1,2 or 5yr plan up front, the battery only lasts for one day at a time and I've had to super glue the connection device as it's super thin plastic that keeps breaking. HORRIBLE PRODUCT and causes more fear than peace of mind bc it does so fast. Don't recommend buying this
