it is heavier than I thought, but that helps with the cooking. The non-stick was great; chili, spaghetti it all comes out without scraping the sides like some pots I have had. It is thicker material so takes a little longer to heat up the water, but other than that it's Wonderful! If you want a pot that lasts a long time this is the one for you.

It is Easy to wash and towel dry. It fits under the oven in the pullout drawer with my skillets and other smaller 4 quart covered pot.
I have had no problems with it whatsoever.

I haven't used this one yet I purchased both both the 8 quart and 12 quart. I did have a review just now on the 12 qt. Pot that I'm in the process of using at this moment. However I did want to include the photo I took of the 2 Pots. I have no reason to not think that the 8-quart is going to perform as nicely as this one is so far. The handles are nice, it comes beautifully packaged so it's not bent like a huge call Caldero that I purchased from Walmart came as. And I understood after reading reviews on that Caldero many other people included photos of their Bent Caldero Cooking Pot.  So the packaging is KEY, everything when you're dealing with these Pots that are aluminum-based after all. You all can read my review under the 12 quart one if you want any other facts that I know thus far.

I love this pot, used it the day I received it.  The handles do get a bit warm, but that doesn't detract from my love for it.

I love this pot! Just the right size for soups and spaghetti sauce! Easy to lift with the handles. Best of all, easy to clean! Just wipe!

Great pot!

Perfect size. Did not have a sticking problem. Looks nice. Cooked well. Be careful if you have a glass cooktop. The bottom of the pot scratched up our glass stove top quite a bit. Hopefully we'll find some glass cleaner that will take out the scratches. But if you have a gas stove or a non-glass cooktop this pot works great.

I love this stew pot. The only problem is that the lid that came with it doesn't  fit. luckily I had an old lid that fit.

It's been about a month (probably less) since I purchased it. I always cook in it using non-stick wooden/plastic spoons/spatulas. Already, scrapes from the base material are coming out, i.e., it wore in less than a month. That's very unfortunate. please issue refund!

specifically states that it is "compatible with porcelain glass stove tops". the first time I used it it put deep scratches in my stove top!!!! I was able to return it a month later, but that doesn't fix the scratches!

DO NOT BUY for porcelain stove tops!
