This cookware is NSF certified, compatible with gas, electric and ceramic glass cooktops, can be used in the oven up to 400°F / 204°C.Before using your pan for the first time, hand-wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly, then season by lightly rubbing cooking oil onto the cooking surface and heating over medium heat for two to three minutes. When cool, hand-wash in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.Do not use nonstick aerosol cooking sprays in your nonstick pan. They will leave a residue, which may be difficult to remove and will cause foods to stick to the pan. To preserve the look and performance of your pan, we recommend using silicone, nylon, bamboo or wood utensils when cooking. Regardless of how hard the cooking surface is, using metal utensils or sharp objects may damage the cooking surface over time. Cooking using low to medium heat only. Since aluminum yields excellent conductivity and delivers even heat distribution, the usage of high heat is not necessary. In fact, the use of high heat can permanently discolor and damage your pan. When using your pan on ceramic glass stovetops, always lift (do not slide) to move to avoid scratching the cooktop. Interior Cleaning: The nonstick cooking surface on your pan ensures easy cleanup with just soap and water. Should burnt grease or food residue collect on the surface, it can usually be removed with warm water and a mild detergent. For extreme cases, residue can be removed with a thorough cleaning using Soft Scrub®. Do not use abrasive cleansers, steel wool or coarse scouring pads.

This Trantina pan is a professional quality pan, with excellent heat distribution, plus is weighted correctly, so it doesn't tilt when sitting empty. The handle is amazing!  It's 8" making it super versatile %26 well worth the $$. Yes, I would recommend this pan to anyone looking for a small fry/sauté pan

Recommended by Wirecutter in the NYT so I gave it a try. Since then have given this to our daughters. Nice little skillet. Easy cleanup. Silicone covered handle. Good value.

Just right

This is a very solid pan. It is well constructed and the surface lasts longer than most non-stick pans. It is not light; so be aware of that. But it is a verystrong and efficient pan. Well worth the money

Well built pan.

As a home family chef for 50 years these are the best fry pans I have used. From 8 inch to 10 inch and now 12 inch it's the only 3 fry pans I need. Aside from a great nonstick surface, I love the weight and the shape of them.

Eggs slid easily across the surface of the pan.  It came with care instructions (nothing complicated, such as "don't cook over high heat," "don't add cold water to hot pan," etc.)  Using the proper use and care of the pan, I expect it to last us many, many years.  The grip handle is very comfortable and steady.  Clean up is a breeze.

This is the pan I've been looking for.

This pan is NSF certified and has a lot of features that make it stand out compared to residential use pans. Instead of flashy features, you get a practical handle you can get a good grip on that is also removable if necessary, a strong and durable coating, and even heat distribution. Overall, an excellent pan that withstands commercial use but is easy to replace regularly if it wears out.

NSF certified, great features

Replaced an old one, identical to this new one.  They are industrial, I don't follow guidelines and use high heat with it, I like to do stir fries in it since I don't have a gas stove top for my wok.  So for a few years, I can run it on high heat when I choose, and it lasts just fine.  Love the large size and the silicone handle.

Made really well.

This is a well-designed, fairly priced, large frying pan. I have used Tramontina Professional line fry pans for years and recently needed to replace my 12-inch pan. Walmart used to have their own version of this pan made by Tramontina which was a little cheaper and the only discernable difference was it had two bolts securing the handle to the pan instead of the retail version's three. If you can find that version it is every bit as good as this one. Either way, this is a great addition your kitchen.

My only caveats are that you should only clean this pan by hand as a machine washing can damage the non-stick coating and find a good lid to use with it. Otherwise, the pan is a good weight, cooks evenly, and consistently.

This Fry Pan is a Good Addition to Your Kitchen

Very nice skillet for the price. My friend said Gordon Ramsey non stick are the best LOL. RIP OFF! All non stick pans will wear out, and or scratch. Time to throw away before your eating Forever Chemicals. This pan got best budget reviews which is why I bought. Throw it away and buy a new one when worn out. I whish the inside bottom was wider, hence the four stars. Excellent for omelettes! I like the handle grip and coating. See how long it lasts.?. Enjoy!

Oh, this is a hard one. It was shipped with a flaw--a "pimple" on the non-stick surface. After such a stellar review on the NY times Wirecutter! I was so bummed.
