After 35 years of owning Farberware SS pans & needing a replacement, extensive research led me to Tramontina. The results backed up the due diligence, my wife & I are very pleased with this line from Tramontina. We don't consider any non stick coating human safe except enamel, which doesn't hold up long, and needs frequent replacement. SS can be seasoned with  a simple "oil & salt" treatment over heat, and lasts up to a month and is easy to do / reapply. Their glass lids don't have a vent hole & we had concerns yet made the purchase anyways & after ownership understand that semi loose fitting lids accomplish the same purpose as a tiny vent hole, brilliant.

I have the entire collection plus some added utencils like a brasier and a large roasting pan for turkeys and roast beef. I purchased the collection online during the pandemic and it still looks brand new.

Heavy duty bolt through handles, beautifully rounded bottom with total flat surface contact on my ceramic cooktop. The glass lid also feels strong and sturdy and will let me monitor cooking activity without constantly lifting the pot's lid. This certainly gives high-end, premium cookware brands some truly affordable competition. Glad I made the purchase!

These stainless steel pots are great. I happy with the durability and good quality. I have bought this brand before and will continue to. I recommend the tri ply stainless steel.

solid piece of cookware. other single clad pots rattled and vibrated on stove as water to boil was heating up. We were afraid the pot would "walk" off the stove. Not so with this fine piece of cookware

Great Stockpot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to work well but you're not supposed to set your burner on high when boiling things which means it takes a long time to boil on my stovetop. A bit different from nonstick.

Sturdy

The lid isn't made well, it's a hazard. I washed and air dried it on a rack. When I went to pick it up, it just exploded leaving the handle in my hand and a pile of glass (tempered) in and around my sink. I didn't subject it to extreme temperatures, I'd understand if that's what caused it.

The pot is great, and I liked the lid before it broke. I contacted the company to see if they will replace the lid. Still, they need to do better quality control. We'll see...
