This is a good set of cookware. I use a little lemon juice to keep it looking new! The sets with the glass lids are made in Brazil, and the actual metal pan can handle the high temps in the oven..... its the glass lids that can only go up to 350 or whatever (i called the company and asked). I made the switch from hard anodized and cant be happier. I feel like i'm making a healthier choice for my family.  The pots and pans are also magnetic.... which means they have very little or no nickel in the steel. Which is concidered “safe” to cook with when it comes to metals leaching into food. If your thinking about this set remember to have some lemon juice handy (which i believe is an easier to use chioce.... you literally put a few drops in your pan and use your hand to rub it around.... MUCH easier than scrubbilg with barteenders friend.) Go for it you wont regret it.

I purchased these based on the recommendation of America's Test Kitchen, and thus far I have been very pleased with their quality. The set has a nice heft to it without being too heavy, and they have withstood my toddler's banging them without a dent or scratch. They are stainless steel, so they're tougher to clean than nonstick, but these will last a lot longer than nonstick (which you have to replace every 3–5 years), and they are easy to clean so long as you take care to properly oil and avoid burning your food. The only drawback of this set is that there are spots left behind on the inside after cleaning them, but this issue is merely cosmetic and could certainly be remedied by using some Barkeep's Friend, which the manufacturer recommends applying every so often. 

Overall, this is a high quality set at an affordable price that I anticipate will last me for many years to come. I highly recommend them!

Quality Set of Pans for an Affordable Price

I ordered the 12 piece set July 2020 with glass lids. The pans themselves are all made in Brazil (laser etched on each pan). I'm very happy I went with this set. It was a toss up for me between this set, and the Kirkland 10-piece 5-ply set from Costco. I ordered both and had shipped to my house (quarantine) to compare. This set was slightly more expensive ( $30), but all the reviews for Tramontina I could find were positive (like this one). The Kirkland set had mixed reviews of warping pans and heavy weights. I didn't cook with either set before settling on a decision, but weight was very apparent. The Kirkland set resemble cast iron cookware while the Tramontina set just feels right and balanced (whatever that means).  Tramontina's warranty appears to be lifetime? (Don't quote me) which was another big plus. One of the glass lids was actually shattered in the box when I received it. I took a picture and emailed Tramontina's customer support and I had a new replacement lid the next week.

All I can say is that I'm very happy I went this route, and even happier that I didn't default to a much more expensive All-Clad set from the get go. This is my first set of stainless steel pans and I hope to use them for many years to come.

Good buy

I ordered 10 pieces 18/10 tri-ply Clad stainless steel. These came perfectly fine better than what I expected. It has nice appearance and heavy weight also contains warranty card by Tramontina. I will definitely do another review for its cooking test.

Better than expected

Solid craftsmanship on the sizes you truly use and need. 
We paid under $125.00 for this set. 
This was the price point at Sams Club we wanted to beat. They have the black ones and these are a universal 18/10 stainless steel look that fits any kitchen.

Tramontina Tri-Clad Made in Brasil

Best pots and pans ive ever owned!  I wish i bought stainless steel years ago.  

Every couple of months i use "Barkeeper Friend" and everything looks brand new!  Ive had these for a year now and just wish i bought them sooner.

Got rid of all of our non-sticks and replaced them with these. They are very high quality and when you heat them right, they're just as non-stick as actual non-stick

Worth every penny

Pans are the nicest I've owned - good heat distribution, nice flat bottoms that work well for an electric cooktop.  Cleanup is easier than expected as well.  The frying pans are a bit smaller than I was picturing, but I have a 12" already so these 2 smaller pans are nice compliments to that one.  I like that the tops are glass to see into the pan more easily.

Great Pans at a Lower Price than Similar Sets

Quality set! I'm very happy with how they evenly heat and cook. Just be sure to care for them properly in washing and in using proper oils while cooking to avoid sticking.

If quality matters, this set is for you! If you  want for displaying, you'll be using barkeeper on the inside for stains, not food sticking, after each use. But, that said, each pots, pans are a beauty, and a joy to use. I'm blessed....hubby loves to useAND polish, I'd display if I wasn't soooooo short.  And he so tall. Buy, enjoy. Four stars because of glass lids. I'd Prefer stainless. Would make set much easier to handle. !

I used it for the first time with eggs and they all got stuck onto the pan, then i tried washing it and it got stained like if i have been using it for months. I don't recommend this pots and pans. When you first look at them they look heavy like if they're good quality but the looks lie.
